The Emerald Oak is located in the suburbs of St. Louis in a quiet, family oriented neighborhood. The home is right off of highway 364 and close to interstates 70/64/40. We are located on a cul de sac, so you will enjoy no through traffic, free parking, and a safe environment for littles if they accompany you. We have 4 bedrooms and 3 baths, a huge backyard and deck and patio. A very descriptive layout of the rooms and sleeping arrangements with specific photos are listed as well.
We have free parking on the property of course. No street parking has fees of any kind.

This place served as command central for my daughter's wedding. Clean, convenient, plenty of space. I would definitely recommend.

The home itself is beautiful, with a large backyard and a great location on a quiet cul-de-sac. It offered plenty of space for our group, and we appreciated the peaceful setting during our stay. Unfortunately, our stay at this property was overshadowed by a major issue with the refrigerator that made our trip significantly more stressful and inconvenient than it should have been. My friends and I were in town for a 4-day convention in which we would be spending the majority of our days at the convention center. We specifically rented a house with a refrigerator in order to prepare and store food to both maximize our time at the convention and save money eating out. Due to the refrigerator failing, we ended up losing perishable food and having to completely change our plans/budget. I do understand that things happen, but the host acknowledged that the refrigerator was making a terrible noise 6 weeks prior to our stay. We feel that the host failed to take necessary steps to ensure that the refrigerator was in working order prior to our arrival. Furthermore, while the host was responsive to messages, I did feel that she was a bit dismissive of the problem and several of her messages came across as rude/condescending. The solution that was offered was to bring us "a ton of ice" to place inside the broken refrigerator to act as a cooler — an impractical and ineffective solution, especially given that the perishable food had already spoiled by the time the issue became obvious.
