Wonderful stay at Zen Den! Not far from town, has everything we would need, super easy check-in and check-out with lockbox at the entrance, would go back again!
One opportunity for improvement: the downstairs bedroom mattress needs updating, it heavily sinks in the middle. Also, when you sit at the foot of the bed the entire mattress comes off the head of the bed frame, and one can slip and fall to the floor. We slept upstairs in separate beds the second night and it was a much more restful sleep.

The steps to the entry are a little challenging otherwise this cabin was just about perfect for a relaxing weekend. The location of the cabin was in a quiet neighborhood and offered privacy and a great front deck. Cabin was well equipped and comfortable with everything we needed, even a couple of candles we found during a couple of power outages. Suggest visitors prep for power outages as lovely Big Bear is challenged with fire prevention needs.
We would recommend this cabin.
