I visit this place at low season. And was a unlucky because pool was closed on renew. Instead resort propouses two free options of other beach clubs. My room was big and clean. With big balcony. Resort not that big, but has nice territory, with trees. It is close to beach, around 5 minutes to nearest place. Shops, restorans and many massage available around. Staff was gentle. I recommend this place as nice option to stay at Bungtao beach.

We had a good time staying at Chivatara. The room we booked is spacious with balcony, the bathroom did not smell nice, in my opinion ventilation and proper drainage should be fixed. Bed is comfy and daily cleaning is so much appreciated. Pool is nice and big. Location is good, it is close to Bangtao Beach. Breakfast is good.

This hotel for six nights when I was booking it there was no mention of the pool being renovated and even today as I leave there’s still no mention of it on their website or on any booking site. Not only was a pool not available after the second day but I had to put up with constant jackhammering as they renovate the pool. I will be demanding a full refund.
