High End 1 BR Apt, 2 Beds Desirable Chigwell CHCL F3

The property itself was lovely, great location as it was a perfect meeting point for me and my family.

I travel frequently and regularly stay in hotels and serviced apartments. I’m at the highest tier on Booking.com and also use IHG, Marriott, and Airbnb extensively. Without question, this was the poorest communication experience I’ve had. The communication from the host was absolutely shocking. Without question, this was the poorest communication experience I’ve had. Had I known in advance that I would be subjected to a constant stream of messages and such a stringent check-in process—including providing identification and paying a £500 security deposit, which I do not believe was made sufficiently clear before booking—I would never have made the reservation. I completely understand the need for security measures, but the way they were communicated was excessive. Once a booking is confirmed, I expect to receive one clear message with everything I need to know. Instead, I received multiple automated messages, many of which repeated information or included unnecessary detail. Rather than making the process easier, it made it far more frustrating, as important information became diluted amongst the volume of messages. The experience left a very bitter taste before I had even stepped foot in the property. Communication should give guests confidence and clarity, not make them feel overwhelmed or apprehensive about their stay.

Great location and near all amenities. Flat was clean and tidy and well equipped with everything .

Sofa bed is not comfortable at all and should be replaced . Also charged an extra £500 deposit which was unexpected as had already paid for the apartment .

It’s was beautiful the place was clean and cosy was a lovely staycation with my friends

Dated and worn Lack of cutlery and crockery and utensils and pots and pans Ironing board was broken Bedroom blind broken Extractor in bathroom broken Furniture damaged and stained Certainly not a high end property as one would expect in Chigwell.. Very dissatisfied and won’t stay again and certainly won’t recommend. Also it is now 2 weeks and my £500 deposit hasn’t been returned leaving a sour taste and a thought of scammed.
