Bright and Spacious Attic Apartment

I cannot say enough nice things about this property. The location is superb, with walking access to the green metro line, tram, Vinohrady, and Old Town. It is also close to a number of cool cafes and restaurants, as well as the Žižkov Tower. The apartment itself is truly massive, with two separate bedrooms, allowing one person to work and take phone calls while the other person can sleep peacefully. One of the bedrooms also has a cozy upstairs crawl space with a double bed and loaded bookcase! The apartment is also exceptionally — and I mean, exceptionally — well-equipped, with truly everything you need, ranging from pots, pans, cooking utensils, and spices and down to cleaning supplies and extra plastic bags. The appliances are all high-quality, with a real 4-burner gas cooktop from Bosch (most apartments in Prague have 2-burner induction cooktops), a Bosch oven, a Bosch dishwasher, and an Electrolux washing machine. The coffee machine deserves a special mention — it was a simple yet high-quality espresso maker from a Czech brand Eta that made truly the most amazing coffee I have ever tasted at home. We had an absolutely phenomenal stay and would come back again any time.

Two things to watch out for: - the apartment is on the very last floor of a 5-story building that has no elevator; be ready to exercise! - there is a nasty neighbour on the first floor that is obsessed with the noise made by the old door that leads into the stairwell; you will need to open the door slowly and carefully to avoid the hassle

It feels a bit sterile and at the same time old although most of the facilities have been renewed. They refused to grant us any flexibility about checkout.
