The Daryonan Lodge has some of the friendliest and most helpful staff. They were super willing to help us out and wanted us to have an excellent stay in Coron. We requested a big bed but instead recieved a room with 3 twin beds. I will note we arrived well before the check in time and they let us check in early at no extra fee which may be why we ended up with the small beds instead of the large bed. The room was clean enough and the rest of the accomodation was clean. The pool was really nice to swim in. On one occasion I used the net to scoop a dead bird out of the pool, but I saw them cleaning the pool the next day so I think I just had poor timing with my swim and their cleaning schedule. Breakfast was included and was okay. Coming from Canada it was a bit different than the western breakfasts I'm used to, but it was still good and the fact that it was included was a major perk. Unfortunately there was no potable drinking water provided and the room overall (aside from the bed situation) left a bit more to be desired. Still a nice place to stay if travelling on a budget. Pros: -breakfast included -friendly staff -accommodating staff -pool area -aircon Cons: -rooms a bit out of date -a few cleanliness issues -location a bit away from main amenities, but still within reasonable walking distance or tricycle ride. -beside main street, can be a bit noisy at times
