    Nice new boutique resort, beautiful rooms! No beach at all. Hard to get dinner reservations. Only 2 à la carte restaurants. Food is good. Cost cutting is apparent. Ran out of some foods on numerous occasions. Had to ask for bacon in the morning. It was kept behind the counter and when it was gone you were out of luck. Premium booze very limited. Service with a smile was 50% at best, unusual for Mexico. The staff is overworked. Wth all that said, it is a nice resort and you just have to understand that cost cutting is everywhere and be accepting of this situation.

    We had a swimout room and enjoyed having a place to cool down right outside our room and not needing to worry about getting chairs by one of the pools. The resort wasn't full, but people would be out before 7am placing towels on chairs to grab the "best" spots. The road getting to the resort off the main highway is full of large potholes (it travels through the mangroves) and I wouldn't want to drive a rental through it. A week is a little long to stay given the limited choices for dining, but the food was good and the staff overall were nice. Not a lot of consistent drink service by the pools (none for our swim out). The points to use at the coffee shop/convenience store were a welcome change from the usual fridge stocked mostly with items that we wouldn't consume.

    I would recommend this resort to anyone! It was beautiful amd clean amd amazing service!

    Very boring! No entertainment, no music, feels like a dead place... The food is not that good: mostly burgers and fast food! There is not beach, and the smell of dead fish (due to the seaweed that's nit being cleaned, and it is rotting) prevails over the whole resort!
