Orange Hotel Beijing Wangfujing Pedestrian Street

I’ve been scammed by this hotel, apparently this hotel only hosts local Chinese guests so if you are non-local, you will be shifted to the next door budget hotel. I’ve posted the pictures here where i have clearly booked Orange but they have given me the next door budget hotel called M hotel or something. So what happened was after reaching the Orange hotel, the receptionist said my Agoda booking ID was not found and i said that could not be please check again, even showed the Agoda app where it shows Orange hotel. The lady then ran to the next door budget hotel with my passport leaving me clueless what was going on. Then her colleague told me that she is checking with the next hotel. I was totally puzzled. Then she lady told the next door hotel, M hotel is where your hotel is. I asked why am i given that budget hotel, she said its because that hotel is using Orange logo and pictures in Agoda. I had no choice and they dont speak English either, leaving me no choice but to check-in the hotel and what upsetting was the M hotel is a budget hotel with no lift, no proper toilet amenties, super small room with no window, no proper lock for the room. I was furious and contacted Agoda and Agoda could not do anything as apparently i have already checked into the hotel and they could only compensate me with Agoda Cashback. After going through Orange hotel reviews from other guests, i then understood that the locals only are given Orange hotel and the non-locals are transferred to the budget hotel which is totally unfair to me as i paid for Orange hotel and given budget hotel which is not even fair to me with the price i’ve paid!!!!! Even after complaining to Agoda this Orange hotel is still listed here. I usually dont leave comments but my review here to warn the other future guests.

Been to many hotel around the world but this is the first time encounter issue different hotel different room,as I'm booking room at orange hotel with street view as ads on the page of room booking but what I got it's not hotel Orange but the booking is next to the hotel meicheng the staff mention,been wait for 2hr to settle with Agoda customer service and the hotel site but still same orange hotel not get any update about arrangements from Agoda,the lady so nice assist my problem but still I have to go next door hotel instead orange hotel,same also to next hotel mention it's their hotel not orange hotel,staff mention as per square feet the room,it's next hotel not orange hotel it's really tiring since my flight landed at 7am and happen this issue, really disappointed,the staff nice but this page of orange need to mention the exact room and location, what I got is budget hotel,not enjoying my stay there

i’m using Agoda for very long time, this is the first time that i moved to the different hotel while i’m check in in Orange Hotel. i moved to the nearest hotel called M hotel ( or meicheng ) idk. when i ask why i moved to this hotel, the staff said it was something wrong with the booking site. i’m too tired to complain, i accept the new hotel. so i stayed 4 nights in M hotel, the staff helpful and nice, overall this new hotel is OK for me. i just confused with the situation that i moved to another hotel. Hope Agoda never did this again to me or other travelers.

This hotel was hilarious. They dont recognize booking from agoda.
