Ghita Appartement

Good location, about 15 minutes walk to the Gueliz Plaza. Opposite a local convenience shop and a restaurant. We had the 2 bedroom flat on the 4th floor, there is a lift. The flat is duplex and had 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. It was clean, and easy to check in with Lahcen who is usually at the property. There is also good outside space, with a wraparound balcony. We enjoyed our stay here. It is about 40 mins walk to Jama Al Fna, but we just used taxis. It was excellent value for money.

Place does need a bit of repair now from previous leaks and damp by the stairs to the 2nd bedroom.

The location was fantastic, just on the cusp of Gueliz and close to Les Jardins Majorelle. There was a lot of space and several terraces to view the sunset. Lahcen the caretaker was easy to talk to and very helpful! The shuttle from the airport was easy and comfortable.

The unit itself was disappointing. Everything was run down, many things were broken - for instance the toilet flushers was about to fall off, the paint is peeling in the bathroom, the glass of the coffee pot carafe is broken - why is it not replaced?! There were no forks, we had to buy them. One of the climate units itself was held on with tape. Currently Morocco is experiencing cold temperatures and heavy rains, the heat pumps didn't really heat super well and were incredibly noisy. There's massive construction going on outside. The wifi was between okay and bad. This is the worst place we've stayed in Morocco across 6 different apartments. I wouldn't go back for the price, there's much better out there. We spent our first week working and being in the apartment a lot and it is only equipped for people who are spending all of their time outside the unit, and eating out for every meal. Not adequate for those who need to work or want to stream anything.
