We had a truly wonderful stay at Nikoleri Studios in Lefokastro and cannot recommend it enough. The location is simply perfect – right above the gulf, with breathtaking views of the sea and the surrounding landscape. The setting is peaceful and quiet, yet you can still feel the warmth of the village with children playing nearby, which adds to its charm.
Our room, though not very large, was extremely comfortable and spotlessly clean. What really made our stay unforgettable was our host, Ms. Syrago. She was impeccable – always attentive to our needs, changing linen almost daily, and offering excellent tips for excursions around Pelion. Her warm hospitality made us feel truly at home.
Just steps away along the beach road, you’ll find two excellent dining options: a lovely restaurant and the very famous Stefanos Fish Tavern (known as “Pappous”), where you can enjoy fresh fish and authentic Greek flavours right by the sea. Both are popular with locals and visitors alike and often fully booked, especially Stefanos, which is open all year round – so making a reservation is a must if you want to secure a table for lunch or dinner.
Do keep in mind that there is no mini market in Lefokastro itself, but this is no inconvenience since Argalasti, a beautiful village only five minutes’ drive away, has everything you need for your daily essentials.
The neighbourhood around Nikoleri Studios feels safe, welcoming, and family-friendly – perfect for couples and families alike. If you can, choose one of the rooms on the first floor, as they are more spacious and offer the best panoramic views of the gulf.
Overall, Nikoleri Studios combines comfort, stunning views, and heartfelt hospitality in a picturesque and authentic setting. We left with beautiful memories and would gladly return. Highly recommended!

The location is the only positive thing I can say about this apartment.
The apartment is very old and with outdated equipment. The rooms are very small. The shower is not welcoming
