Pool wa quite green and unexpectedly (to us) unavailable during afternoon hours. Host was shockingly rude in our communication (see photo).

Close to the beach and restaurants, bedding provided quickly when requested.

Restricted hours for use of pool during the afternoon, by the time it reopened the area was shaded which was disappointing. One plug in the kitchen area necessitating kettle on top of microwave. Some electrical cabling unfinished in the bathroom

Nice family appartment, walking distance to the city center

Located 10min away by walk from the city center of Stari Grad, the apartment is located on the rooftop and offers a nice view of the city and the port. The apartment was very clean and includes all possible amenities for a family.

Clean

Location was more than 500m from town centre, it was 20min walk. No complimentary coffee/tea. Not enough towels for 4 people 4 nights. TV not working. Fridge cooling was set on off position, had to throw out food on our first night.

Beautiful location and property in a quiet part of Stari Grad. Best accessed by car, but walkable too. The host was absolutely lovely to us and we had a brilliant stay.

Excellent value, close to the Old Town

This is an excellent value for money property and is only a 5-10 min walk away from the old town. The old town is beautiful and has a number of lovely restaurants and shops with a harbour. We had two bedrooms and a kitchenette - we didn't need an entire apartment as we just used it as a base to go and explore. It was clean, functional and good for what we needed.

Cute location in stari grad and close by to nice swimming areas and to short walk to the town Apartment had everything you need to cook and bathroom was nice too

Unpleasant experience

The apartment was well located a few minutes walk from the seafront and around 10 to the town. The town was very pretty with lots of good restaurants. All very expensive though. The apartment & balcony was fine and all very clean. There was a pool but we didn't use it. It's not open from 2-5pm which is when we wanted to use it. No explanation as to why.

When we arrived we were greeted with a list of how much everything would cost us if we broke it or stole it. Not exactly what we'd experienced anywhere else. When I wrote to the owner to say there was no coffee machine which was listed twice in booking.com and that we didn't want to get charged for this as per the list, she was so rude and asked us to leave the apartment immediately. This made us very uncomfortable and we were worried she'd come and chuck us out. It was a very odd reaction. I think we must have got her on a bad day. It all seemed to blow up very quickly and booking.com customer services got involved. It seemed so unnecessary. There was also an extremely overpowering smell of either room spray or something else, but it got into my throat and all over my skin and hair. I could smell it even when we weren't in the apartment. Just to warn anyone with asthma that this could have an effect on you. It didn't really die down in the 2 days we were there and was on the bedding too. I think it is very expensive for what it is. Probably paying for the pool.

Lots to love. great value.

Huge apartment, lovely balcony, cute little pool (only briefly used once). Very close to Helios beach as described. Big fridge and kitchen area (mainly unused by us as only there for a couple of days). beautiful new bathroom. very good value for money. quiet location. A tip for those travelling back to Hvar for ferries and car-less is if you ask at the taxi rank you can arrange to be picked up at the apartment. We did this the day before we left.

while the bathroom was brand new, it drove me bonkers as there was nowhere to put anything. All toiletries ended up on the kitchen table - so while huge - nothing was particularly practical. Extension leads hanging precariously to allow access to sockets. The apartment is a ten min walk to the supermarket and a further ten mins to get to bars and restaurants. that was fine for us but it looked faster on the map. If you walk from Helios beach along the marina, it will add another ten minutes so if you’re wanting less picturesque and more speed take the road down to “Tommy” supermarket.

I really reccomend this place, we will come back.

Its a hidden gem. Hosts were extremally hospitable, kind and helpfull. They even offer us some medications in the middle of the night. Send us documents which we left. They will take care about you and your family, Ivona will tell you a lot about the Island and must see places. Ana is like your own mother, very unique expirience and stay thanks to that family. Close to city beach, about 10 minute walk to the City Centre.

Great welcoming from the owners and Ivana is very nice. Great location to reach the most beautiful beaches and islands. Nice view from the house

Unfortunately the house is missing basic things to live in more than 2 days ( chemicals and washing staff for the house), Bad smelling coming from the toilette(probably pipes issues) They only accept cash payment and for a long stay we had to pay lot of commission to the atm

Exceptional

The owners are the best! I was sick and They drove me immediately to hospital and taking care of me if I was recovering. When arriving they explain you everything about the area and the island. The apartment is extremely clean and swimming pool and parking spot are available. The apartment is located 5 min walking to the center of the area of Stari grad that is really beautiful and more calm than Hvar area. Totally recommend to stay in Hvar if you have a car. For a great dinner “La Gitana” is a must, delicious food in a lovely place

Prima appartement met een aantal verbeterpunten.

Locatie tot de zee was prima. Vooral Helios Beach was heerlijk. Daar is ook een luxe vakantiepark en hotel waar je heerlijk kunt lunchen of een drankje kunt doen. Naar het dorp lopen duurde ongeveer een kwartier. Dus het was fijn om een auto te hebben, zeker als je boodschappen moet doen. Stari Grad is een leuk dorpje met veel leuke restaurants. De airco in het appartement was perfect. De bedden lagen ook heerlijk (boxspring). Het appartement zag er schoon en fris en nieuw uit.

We hadden een aantal minpunten. Wij hadden geen WiFi. Volgens de host zat de hele straat zonder Wifi ivm een doorgeknipte kabel. Het zwembad mag ook niet gebruikt worden tussen 2 en 5 uur. Jammer. En in ons appartement appartement (nr 1) waren de bedlampjes niet te gebruiken omdat er geen stopcontact was om ze in te doen. Het was dus meer als decoratie

Très bon séjour dans un petit coin de paradis

L’appartement offre une vue spectaculaire de la terrasse. Il est idéalement situé dans un petit coin de paradis pour famille. Un restaurant le Jerolim notamment, à 4 min à pied, une plage familiale avec structure gonflable.

Dommage qu’il n’y avait pas de volets dans une des chambres. Pas de machine à café , c’est dommage pour prendre son café et profiter de cette belle terrasse au petit matin.

Propre et fonctionnel

Appartement fonctionnel, équipements récents. Vous pouvez être en autonomie moyennant de petites courses au Tommy du centre ville. L’emplacement est à 10min à pieds du centre de Stari Grad, on est au calme.

Il n’y a pas de parking au sens propre du terme, on se gare dans la rue mais il n’y a quasiment aucun traffic ni passage.
