Asteri Living

Asteri Living was a great place to stay while exploring the Old Village and surrounding area. The room was very comfortable, balcony great, and bed comfy. The shower is pretty much the best we have had on this trip. A proper door! The location by the bed takes some getting used to but who cares. It was fabulous. Eleni was a joy. She speaks great English which allowed us to have some really enjoyable conversations. She shares tips for the island and also is just interesting to talk to. We were there at the end of the season so I think we benefited from her not being nearly as busy as in the summertime. Recommend!

The village had several morning power outages which were inconvenient for boiling water, lights, shower, etc. but it had nothing to do with Eleni. It seemed to be that they were doing work on the poles the week we were there. Not a big deal

The apartment has one of the best views in Alonissos from the balcony, the sunrise over the sea is not to be missed. It is very quiet here, even in the evenings when the local restaurants open you cannot hear anything. The apartment has everything we needed for cooking, the bed is very comfortable and our sleep quality was as good as anywhere we have been. Eleni our hostess for the week is charming and very friendly, we enjoyed chatting with her about the history here, and much more.

There is nothing to dislike about Asteri Living, it is one of the best places we have stayed in Greece and we have been coming here for over 40 years.

ottima casetta nella Chora. Magia pura

Excellent location. Clean and was delighted with the regular sheet and towel changes. Air con was very welcome

Kitchen bit basic but we didn’t cook in.
