A relaxing, clean, quirky place with warm hosts!

What’s not to love about this property. Its decor is quirky but works well with this house. We stayed in the torrent room. It was large and the bathroom was huge! The views outside were amazing! Once again the decor in the room was gorgeous. All electric sockets have been tested. Plenty of outlets in the room too! Immaculately clean. The beds are treated for dust mites which is great as I am allergic to them. The hosts Pat & Julie are fabulous and make you feel welcomed from day one. Pat cooks the meals fresh & on sight, you can definitely taste the difference. We can’t recommended it enough. We will be back soon. Not something we ever do but how can you not when you have incredible hosts, it’s so beautiful and relaxing.

A wonderful experience ... it's a very special place ... we can't wait to visit again.

Pencubitt House is exceptional .. no other word for it. We were warmly welcomed by charming hosts Patrick and Julie and the accommodation was really comfortable and everything was spotlessly clean. The house itself is in a very convenient location, and is absolutely charming, really quite beautiful. The public rooms are exquisite, and the food is absolutely superb. This establishment is indeed a very special place ... quite simply, a diamond in Cornwall's crown. We would return in a heartbeat and would most certainly highly recommend.

Perfect. Lovely Victorian house on the edge of Liskeard. Beautifully decorated and very comfortable. Made to feel welcome right from the start. Superb freshly cooked breakfast and very enjoyable evening meal (pre booking is necessary).

Excellent in all aspects !

An amazing choice from both the continental and cooked to order breakfast menu. Enough to set one up for the whole day! We ate in every evening . Patrick is an A * Chef. The food was amazing and creative . The personal attention from Julie and Patrick was warm and friendly without being intrusive. We felt very safe in these Covid 19 times. A superb base to visit Cornwall . Goliath’s Falls and The scenic railway were nearby. We also visited Tintagel Lanhydrock NT Properties but remember to book your slot ! Overall a wonderful 4 night break in a beautiful house in a beautiful location with warm friendly hosts . We shall return.

Hôtes adorables et hôtel merveilleux où séjourner

Nous sommes totalement tombés sous le charme de cet hôtel : le bâtiment est beau, confortable, accueillant. Patrick et Julie savent vous faire vous sentir bien. Le petit déjeuner est un délice, et le dîner également. Les salons à notre disposition étaient douillets et spacieux. En fait tout à fait de cette expérience un vrai moment de plaisir. L’hôtel est facilement accessible à pied depuis la gare, cela permet d’explorer la région en train, notamment Looe et ses belles randonnées.
