Ismini Apartments

A very friendly host who lives in the apartment next door and takes great care of the entire property. The garden is beautifully maintained and filled with stunning flowers. The sea view is breathtaking, and there is direct access to the beach, with a private set of sun loungers and umbrellas included in the price. The beach has soft sand and a pleasant, gently sloping seabed, making it ideal for swimming. The beds are also very comfortable. There is air conditioning available, but we hardly needed to use it because the house stays pleasantly cool on its own. If, like us, you prefer not to rely on air conditioning too much, you can comfortably do without it even during hot weather. There are several excellent restaurants nearby. We especially recommend Akrogiali Taverna (Ταβέρνα Ακρογιάλι), located right by the beach, with very friendly waitstaff. You can also enjoy music from the neighboring venue while relaxing in the garden. Live performances by talented musicians are often held there, creating a wonderful atmosphere.

The only minor downside was the limited storage space for clothes—we would have appreciated a few more shelves for our belongings. As for the beach, the water can sometimes be quite cool because a cold river flows into the sea nearby. For some people, though, that might actually be a plus. 😉

Tradition old Cretan house - cleverly converted. A little quirky with the bed on a mezzanine floor. Very well equipped - had its own extensive lawn down to the beech with sun loungers and parasols exclusively for the property/Properties. Ismini is a delightful lady and did everything possible to make our stay enjoyable.

Location, cleanliness,hospitality. Sun beds included in the price on the private beach. Play area for kids,basic stuff you need for kitchen, beach towels,toiletries, hair dryer, lovely comfortable beds, we even had slippers for inside the house. Mrs Ismini is a lovely lady that waited us with grapes and fresh water. She helped us with arranging for taxi and with information about excursions and local buses. Really close to Chania airport- 30 mins drive. Taxi around 40 Euros. We stayed at the guest house,but the apartments look lovely as well. All have their own table and chairs on the terrace. All shops,restaurants,Baker,souvenirs are 5 min walk.

Pas de porte de séparation entre salon et chambre à coucher. Il manque des ustensiles de cuisine comme un couteau à pain, il y a peu de vaisselle, il manque par exemple une petite casserole, un micro-ondes, un four , des saladiers Le système électrique n’est pas en bon état. Certaines prises étaient défectueuses.
