Exceptionally cold day in Paarl. Heating from air-conditioning took ages to warm the room. Service maybe? Or electric under-blanket.

From the moment we arrived, we felt warmly welcomed. The guest house has a charming atmosphere, comfortable rooms, and everything was exceptionally clean. We especially appreciated the quiet surroundings, secure parking, and attention to detail throughout the property. It was the perfect place to relax after a busy day, and the hosts were accommodating and helpful whenever we needed assistance.
There wasn't anything that negatively affected our stay. If anything, a slightly later check-out time would have been appreciated, but everything else exceeded our expectations.

Location was great and close to the main road and check in process was easy. Breakfast included at Bootlegger was good and had some good options aside from the one included.
Unfortunately, I'm not sure if this was an off day but one of the lights wasn't working next to the bed, there was no cutlery to eat food, or plates, but there was a dish rack which was confusing. No hand soap in the bathroom. I would suggest a few more things in the room to make it comfortable for more than one person for a longer duration. Thankfully I was on my own so it was fine for the night.
