About this farm stay rental
Our structure Borgo Campetroso is located in open countryside and consists of apartments of different types that can accommodate from 2 to a maximum of six people.
We have 2 swimming pools for adults and 2 pools for children 50 cm high.
We are located 20 km from the coast and Etruscan and the Gulf of Follonica. Just 5 km from the medieval village of Suvereto.
Other historic centers are just a few minutes away by car. The embarkation for the island of Elba is 20 km from our structure.
Nearby we have trekking and mountain-bike trails, as well as riding stables and fun activities for children.
Each apartment has a kitchenette and more customers have the opportunity to dine in our restaurant that offers excellent Tuscan cuisine.
Each apartment has a fully equipped kitchenette with fridge and microwave, bathroom with shower, LCD TV with digital terrestrial, air conditioning for a fee, hairdryer, table and chairs for eating outside.

It was a nice place. The restaurant was a little disappointing though. A little bit difficult to communicate with the locals and the staff at the hotel. It was very nice with the playground and the kids pool area.

Sehr schöner Ort mit sauberen Apartments, viel Platz zum Entspannen und Spielen und leckerem Essen!! Toller Pool! Alle waren freundlich und sympathisch, wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und würden auf alle Fälle wiederkommen!

Fangen wir mit dem positiven an:
Das Frühstück ist super! der Pool ist schön und bietet gute Liegemöbel, sehr lästig ist der Reservierungswahn für die Liegen.
Sehr negativ war der Empfang. Trotz deutlicher Verspätung von uns war die Wohnung noch nicht fertig und vollkommen überraschend und scheinbar ein größeres Problem war, dass wir jeder nach einer langen Autofahrt mal auf Toilette mussten. Da es scheinbar kein allgemeines WC (Restaurant???) gibt, mussten wir warten und die Putzfrauen stören - das ist nicht der herzliche Empfang, den ein anderer Gast hier beschrieben hat, danach weiterhin warten auf die Freigabe der Wohnung. Diese war in einem 2stöckigen Gebäude mit Wohnung und Terrasse jeweils direkt nebeneinander mit Blick auch noch 4 Terrassen weiter. Das kommt weder in der Beschreibung noch auf den Bildern so rüber. Da unsere Nachbarn extrem laut waren, war das auch noch zusätzlich unangenehm. In vielen Wohnungen und auch am Pool waren Hunde, das sollte man wissen, wenn man hier Urlaub machen möchte.
Der Hausmeister war sehr freundlich und hat sein bestes getan die Anlage zu pflegen. Die vertrockneten Lorbeerbüsche, die als Trennung der einzelnen "Gärten" angepflanzt waren zeigen das er alleine auf verlorenem Posten kämpft.
Insgesamt etwas lieblos eingerichtet und verwaltete Ferienunterkunft
Die beschriebene Klimaanlage kostet zusätzlich 8 €/Tag - gut, dass es in den Nächten schon kühl wurde, sodass wir die 8 € lieber in das gute Frühstück investiert haben - es geht aber nicht, dass in der Beschreibung die Klimaanlage steht, dann aber vor Ort Zusatzkosten kommen.
Wir haben uns gut erholt - die Lage ist schön. Es gibt in einiger Entfernung auch ein paar sehr schöne Strände.
