A relaxing and enjoyable stay in a lovely location — we would happily return.

lovely comfortable cottage within walking distance of the town.

It was a comfortable one bedroom cottage, within a short walk into the town centre. it was very clean and tidy. The shower was great and the bed was comfortable. The private parking was a bonus. There are plenty of bars and restaurants in the town, with a variety of shops. The complimentary toiletries, tea, coffee etc were a nice touch. We will definitely be back and we will recommend this cottage to others.

Overall everything was good however just a couple of points, I feel it needs a shelf or cabinet in the bathroom to put your things (although it is next to the bedroom, so not far to carry your items.) and a dish cloth would have been handy.

Visit to Plum Cottage 3rd-5th February 2026

It had been freshly redecorated and new carpet in every room. The garden was fully fenced in which was good for the dogs we took with us. Location is a 5 minute walk from Keswick Town centre with plenty of shops and pubs and of course the lake. There is parking at the cottage for 1 car off the road. The shower is more like a wet room so there's plenty of room and the shower unit is very easy to use. We will definitely visit Plum Cottage again and recommend it to friends and family.

It's worth using Google maps to find out where it is and what it looks like as it's slightly back from the main road and quite easy to miss.

Getting over Xmas, 1st weekend break of the year!!

Usually I'm a solo traveller but I was dog sitting for my friend, so I was a little unsure about taking the dog with me, but when I got there, I knew I'd made the right decision. The garden is completely enclosed and the place was spotless and well looked after. Keswick is so dog friendly too. It was easy walking distance to the center, and even though it is behind another house it is very private.

Perfect little cottage

We've stayed at Plum cottage several times as it's a lovely cottage close to the town centre with parking and a lovely enclosed garden. The cottage is always clean and well presented. We've already looking forward to staying there again in 3 weeks time

Great little place

It was clean, comfortable and quiet. The complimentary toiletries, although we didn't need them, were a nice touch.

I would have liked a full size wardrobe in the bedroom, and more shelves in the bathroom, or a bathroom cabinet.

Convenient location on flat terrain with parking and garden. Somewhat dated.

The parking on site. The location was 15 minute walk from the town. Lovely views. The garden would have been a bonus but it rained every day on our visit! An air fryer, freezer and washing machine were extra additions to what would be expected in the kitchen.

Bathroom, great shower in a wet-room experience. could do with better lighting, and the provision of floor towel or mat, for exiting the shower. but on the whole it was easy to use.

Very disappointing accommodation!

It was a 5 minute walk from town centre.

The house decor was very dated and unattractive. The bed was uncomfortable and the polyester bed linen and towels were horrible.

Location, secure garden for the dog, parking on site and more than enough space for the two of us and our dog.

In need of updating bathroom light needs a brighter light and the kitchen does as well and on arrival had to clean dog mess of the garden from previous clients that stayed carpet has stains and smells same with these rentals charge top prices for poor standard properties

Couple from wigan

The cottage was lovely and in a great location to the centre a 5 minute walk and 20 minutes to the lake. There was everything in the cottage that you could think of even an air fryer and the garden was ideal for our dog. I would definitely stay there again when in Keswick.

Great location , cosy cottage , bit tlc needed .

Location was great .. never moved the car . Walked to Lingham and Catbells , the next day Railway walk and Stone circle and keswick town for drinks and food . Private garden was great , garden furniture and firepit , good wifi . Coffee , biccies and milk on arrival great as we were wet and cold .

Minor things like only one old teaspoon , odd mugs ,odd glasses , no teatowel .shower hose and head needed replaced leaked and dirty.

Perfect. Loved our stay.

It was a fabulous cottage with everything I expected it to have including a secure garden for my dogs. It was lovely and clean, warm and comfortable. The location is perfect for a walk into Keswick. Will definitely be staying there again.

We had a lovely time in Keswick and we were pleased with the accommodation.

Free parking, good location close to town centre. Nice garden and walk-in shower. The television was a good one and the lounge was comfortable to relax and watch TV. The kitchen was well equipped.

The wifi was not good in the bedroom.

Wonderful little cottage

The cottage was brilliant. The owners had thought of everything, including milk in the fridge, coffee, tea and biscuits. The cottage was clean and ery comfortable. We were walking distance from the main town. Would highly recommend
