Can Bordoy

Perfect location and great facilities. The pool was a fantastic bonus as we had very hot weather. There are also a good selection of superb restaurants within walking distance that offer excellent food at affordable prices.

Nothing negative to mention.

It was easy to arrange and to meet with the manager of the property to pick up the keys. She was also quick to respond when we had flooding in the property during a particularly bad downpour. The property was spotlessly clean. It is well located for walking to the restuarants and bars in Fornalutx, taking the train from Soller to Palma and for general sight seeing in Majorca. The views from the upstairs patio are beautiful.

The furniture in the property is tired, in particular the outdoor furniture. Only two of the six sun longers were comfortable to lie on. Their covers are all well worn and the binding holding the covers on was stretched or broken. The upstairs seating has also been broken and repaired with screws. There were a small number of mismatched glasses, an inadequate number of mugs and knives and teaspoons. The property could be lovely but it needs some investment.

Views were amazing, better than the pictures on the app. Could look at them all day, actually in the morning and evening….. too hot in the afternoon 😀

There is no air conditioning which we knew, good fans always work when you can point them at you while sleeping, ceiling fans over the bed are the best. Very disappointed that there was only one standing fan that did the job properly ☹️. So in two of the rooms we had to try to prop up the floor fans to point at the bed ….. completely inadequate …… one of them sounded terrible ….. invest in some decent fans, for €2000 I expect everyone to be able to sleep …. It’s a minimum requirement.
