It was very nice for a family with small kids

The indoor pool is very small and has no proper changing rooms. Not enough utilities for kitchen/bathromm. We could be charged extra without the need of searching for a few dishwasher capsules or paper towel...

A wonderful gated paradise… wonderful holiday

What a wonderful wonderful place. This is like a secluded paradise behind the big metal gates. The grounds are so beautifully kept, masses of summer flowers, tidy paths and lawns. This is a relatively small resort which makes is extra special. We spent a week here in the middle of August. Most days in the main pool there was 75% of the sunbeds free. Restaurant usually half full and no queues or crowds. Absolute bliss compared to busy August holiday resorts. Pools areas were spotlessly clean with comfy tidy sun loungers. Kids club was perfect for small little ones. Always less than 10 kids in there so perfect numbers and kids loves the simple activities. Restaurant did some lovely pasta/ pizza dishes and small sandwich selection for lunchtime. A lot of people seem to use the self catering facilities. Meals reasonably priced. However I’d suggest the menu could get quite monotonous if you ate there daily. Needs to be mixed up. Staff friendly. This place has such a lovely feel about it. Really is a magical haven.

Only a few small niggles - This is a good half hrs walk away from the main lake front and the walk back is up a hill. Pretty much every other family had a car apart from us. The walks in the 36 degree heat were brutal. Just to consider.. - breakfast was available for 15 euro a day. It was ok.. however little things like the loaves of bread ran out by 9.30 everyday.. kept having to ask for things to be topped up. Needs a bit more care and a bit of a better selection.. eg.. fresher more plentiful pasties or omelettes etc. became monotonous.

A warm recommendation and very suitable for families

The place is really charming, lots of green spaces, well-equipped rooms, very kind staff. The facilities are of a high standard, very clean and well-maintained. Highly recommended.

You have to buy basic products like toilet paper. But it's really very minimal compared to the place and the value.

amazing place, all super good

amazing location, great place to rest (probably in high season it is quite loud). Apartment with the lake view (from the bedroom- fantastic), very comfortable, equipped with all what is needed. Bathroom clean and big enough. On the premises good restaurant and small shop. we did not use swimming pool but looks really promising. and all the time stuff very helpful - thank you.

I would recommend for families specially. Kids could run free and enjoy themselves!

My kids loved the slides in the pool and the playground. We also used the tennis court which was a bit bumpy but we still had a good game. We also liked the souranding lots of trees and wasn't paked with cabins or huts you felt like we were in the forest.

Our apartment was on the hill , we have to climb the stairs but it keep us fit :)

Relax near the Lake Garda

The residence offers nice places for relax. You can swim in the pool, relax in the garden or in the shadow of the woods. Our kids mostly went for the swimming pool with the toboggan. The cleanliness was spotless.

Magical hotel in the forest

A beautiful hotel with a friendly and welcoming staff. Perfect for children. The hotel facilities are diverse and wonderful. The restaurant is good, and the breakfast is pleasant and tasty. We stayed in a villa with two spacious bedrooms, well-equipped with everything we needed. The bed was comfortable, we and our two kids slept well. The hotel is located within a peaceful pastoral forest, which creates a serene rural atmosphere. It was perfect. Highly recommended, already miss it!

While the hotel's location within a forest has its advantages, there are also some drawbacks: we had a slight ant problem, but the staff promptly tried to do the best to help. Additionally, the shower was small, and while the water pressure was good, the temperature was not stable, which was a bit inconvenient. Although the room was very pleasant, I recommend that the hotel renovate it to make it more modern. Additionally, I would advise to vacuum the sofas and carpets more thoroughly.

Self Catering made easy! Great on-site facilities in a fantastic setting - great indoor pool and outdoor areas for kids and adults! Our villa had everything we needed and more - would love to come back!

I liked the appartment. That was quite big and well equipped. There was a grill place. The hotel area is big, trees and flowers are around.

The indoor pool was small, just for kids to splash. I didn't get it by the photo.

Beautiful place for a family holiday

The residence is situated in a very beautiful, garden like, property. All staff from reception, restaurant, life-guards and grounds keepers are super friendly and helpful and really care about the guests. The facilities such as swimming pools (3), tennis courts, volley ball etc are great for children and the restaurant and shop are extremely handy to have close by. The food is also very good. Our kids loved the daily Spotty Club activities and the staff were fantastic hosting them. There are also plenty of supermarkets and shops nearby.

Everything was great at the hotel. The surrounding area is a little quiet in the off season with many of the cafés and restaurants not opening during the week, but we were there during the off season.

We really liked the hotel, spacious apartments, green areas and good indoor pool (open pool with slides was closed). The staff was very nice and helpful. Excellent value for money, we would recomend this hotel.

There was a really small bottle of soap, as well as soap for dishes and paper. The location is a little less convenient if you want to walk in the eastern part of the lake, but excellent if you want to include the western part as well.

Magical place

This place is magical. Everything was beautiful and clean. 2 great pools. Play grounds for the kids. Kids club. Free parking. Large apartment with a stunning view from the balcony, huge garden, very well equipped kitchen. Air-conditioned in each room. The location is app 30 min drive from Sermione and 45min - 1hr to Gardaland. We would like to extend a special appreciation to beautiful Sylvia from the Reception, whose support, recommendations, smile and energy have made us to feel super welcomed and made our stay ever more pleasant.

I liked everything, however some things that you need to know: Mosquito nets are really needed in each window. The breakfast was basic and doesn't worth the money. You should bring your own pool towels, soap, shampoo, toilet paper etc.

very friendly staff. when they heard it was our daughter’s birthday they bought a cake and surprised her after dinner where they came in singing and gave her the cake,- very thoughtful of them. There is a big field nearby with goats which was fun for the children also they had pony rides which was great for smaller children👍 Spotty was a hit!

We had to change rooms - it seems Gabbiano wasn’t informed that we from home upgraded our room. I guess this information was never got through from Booking.com? Lots and lots of mosquitoes which was a bit of a hassle.

great location, musty apartment

friendly and helpful staff, comfortable pools with life guard. the entire property is a nice garden!

cleanliness was utterly unacceptable for a 4-star residence. the house had a nasty musty / moldy smell. the floors were dirty and a short walk would blacken feet with dust. cobwebs under every piece of furniture, especially under the tv, where spiderwebs probably took years to grow. in the few days of our stay we killed four *large* spiders. for the first time in the last few years, we considered leaving after the first night. we would consider staying again only if given an apartment in a renovated building.
