About this cottage rental
The farmhouse is in the heart of the Alto Maestrazgo, in a village of the XIII century that was the birthplace of Villafranca, with Romanesque church, fortified tower and Gothic bridge. It is on the border between the provinces of Castellón and Teruel. Located at the edge of the "Río de las Truchas" ravine, at an altitude of 100 meters, it is surrounded by mountains with holm oak and pine forests.
The farmhouse has been carefully restored with an interior of character. In this cozy interior have been preserved vaulted ceilings and wood, windows with their poyos or "festejadores" and some soils of aljez. It has antique and traditional furniture of the region: trough, brazier, cadiera, washbasin, dresser, beds ...
The house has: On the ground floor: Living room with fireplace, fully equipped kitchen with access to terrace with barbecue and excellent views, 1 toilet. On the first floor: 1 double room, 2 double rooms, 2 bathrooms and a double room with bathroom. On the second floor: 1 double room, 1 double room, 1 bathroom, 1 toilet. Central heating and telescope in one of the rooms.

La maison est située aux départ de nombreuses randonnées – La Estralle, Fortanete, la Iglesuela, …- nous avons beaucoup aimé la possibilité de visité des villages très beaux (Mirambel, Cantaviaja, Morella) - , de faire de très grandes randonnées, de nous plonger dans la vie espagnole et profiter des fêtes de villages. Les enfants ont beaucoup aimés. Ils ont été très régulirement à la piscine du village, très sympa !
En plus la maison est meublée avec gout. Séjour très agréable, nous reviendrons.
