As a family we were disappointed.

The property having a ski rental in it was useful. The ski locker room was good but the heater didn’t work in the locker so the boots wouldn’t dry. The property is close to the train station. There is a good sized pool.

The property is located at the end of the French valley and is isolated in bad weather conditions. The ski school is in a different village a mile away and when it snows heavily the train stops its services. There were no staff on site. There isn’t a restaurant. The patisserie ran out of stock within 10 mins of opening. There are no supermarkets nearby. Only two small restaurants nearby and they can’t cope with demand ( no reservation, no chance) so if you don’t drive or the train stops running you are completely isolated without food. The pool was too cold ( children were blue after 20 mins) and when I contacted happy rentals they said it wasn’t down to them. There was no oven in the apartment.

Great place for a ski break

Location. Quality of apartments is high and still good value for money.

Building is looking its age. Water leakage/condensation issues in the pool area. Many light bulbs not replaced. Pool temp too low. Ski lockers no longer in use. Spa has closed (which I knew but still sad)

Amazing stay, I would definitely recommend this property

Beautiful location and views from hotel. The time of year we chose was off-season so the hotel was very quiet. Isabelle, the cleaner, was very nice and opened the sauna for us outside of the usual time.

Bedrooms are quite small. Car park spaces are very tight

Comfortable beds, stunning views, pool, sauna.

We spent a wonderful few days in these comfortable apartments. I would like to mention the very comfortable beds, we slept well. Overall, the room was clean. The kitchen is comfortable, there is all the necessary equipment and utensils. A comfortable pool with warm water, there is a sauna. We spent wonderful evenings in them. Wonderful views from the windows, many hiking trails nearby. The train station is nearby. Keep in mind that there are no shops in the village, bread and groceries can be bought in the neighboring village (it takes about 10-15 minutes to drive towards Shamani). This is the last village before the border with Switzerland. The online payment method for the room is complicated, we figured it out, but I would simplify it. The check-in itself is also a bit like a quest, keep in mind that the hotel has two wings, which have different names, but have identical room numbers (we wandered around a bit before we found our room). The parking is large and convenient, the spaces are spacious, even a minibus and large SUVs (for example, a Chevrolet Suburban) will fit. I recommend this wonderful hotel.

Would never want to stay here again

Near ski lift (200 meters), near train station, comfortable bed, fairly pleasant mountain view. Underground car park.

Very cramped kitchenette, with space for just one person. Inadequate lighting in all areas except bedroom. Kitchen crocery and cutlery understocked, and almost no worktop space. Bedroom light not working. Very poor WiFi, often no signal. Unwanted noise every day from 4pm to 8pm from loudspeakers of cafe in front of our apartment. Had to keep our balcony doors shut. Fitness room rather pathetic with very little equipment and no weights. Excessively warm room, with air-conditioning inadequate and stays switched off. Treadmill not working. Lack of information, and no staff available. Reception is closed continually, with automated check in and checkout. Described as ski in ski out. This is not true, even when there is an abundance of snow.

The location and the size of the apartment

Not well maintained. Some equipment are broken (swimming pool) or not well maintained (swing for kids). It seems that the place had its time of glory but is no longer well maintained. Kitchen is not well equipped. No bowl in our kitchen but our friends had bowls in their apartment upstairs

A great self catering apartment block with good facilities but Vallorcine tired and isolated so car is essential

Well equipped apartment close to ski lift and train station. Pool and games room were excellent for the children and essential if can’t ski as there is nothing else to do in Vallorcine. boulangerie great for breakfast. Staff very helpful, thank you.

Access to main reception from our block was through car park or outside terrace. pillows very lumpy and uncomfortable. Location isolated and car is essential if self catering as no shops in Vallorcine.

Very warmth and helpful staff. Spacious and quiet rural settings. Near the train station. Well equipped kitchen with Nespresso. Cafe next to our room. The sauna and swimming pool are good. Free train tickets.

Friendly and helpful staff, very spacious apartment, very clean. lovely pool with sauna. There are 3 restaurants in Vallorcine, ski hire, the cable car station and the train station are just behind the hotel.

You have to pay extra for things like toilet paper, dish washer tablet after the first lot is used up.

Poor really but we had to make the most of it too much travelling time wasted to get to ski

1. Vallorcine miles away from chamonix 30 mins train this was not clear in advertising? 2. 3 restaurants in Vallorcine a joke and 1 fully booked all week 3. Vallorcine ski lift working but then had to walk 400m up hill to ski. Drag lift not working yet plenty of snow. 4. No snow cannons in the whole of chamonix ski resort. Weird considering the need for snow across the whole of the alps and this being a richer resort? 5. staff hardly ever there at Vallorcine apartments 6. Moldy wood chopping board left in dish washer for months disgusting?

Everything was great. Good size apartment. Nice facilities and great location.

The weather let us down with heavy 🌧 which meant we had to travel to other areas to ski. Fortunately, we had a car which meant we could easily access other resorts in the valley.

Large apartment, clean, all you need inside, excellent pool, very good location in Chamonix Valley, near by the train station, free train transportation using vouchers provided by the residence reception, quiet neighbourhood.
