A hidden mountain paradise for relaxation, culinary delights, and stunning views.

Everything! What a dream to spend the last days of 2025 and the first days of the new year at Tuffbad. We loved absolutely everything about it: the views, the food in general, the afternoon “Jause” (what a treat!), the friendly staff (special shoutout to Martina, who took great care of us every night at dinner), the wellness... We can’t wait to come back!

If we really have to point out something that could be improved, it’s only in the small details. We would have loved a coffee machine in the room or some bubbles at breakfast every day (they were only served on special occasions). It’s also not ideal that you have to reserve a lounge bed; otherwise, you’re not guaranteed a spot by the pool or in the Alm lounge if you head to the wellness on the first floor in the afternoon. But as we said, these are just minor details; overall, the experience was absolutely wonderful and far outweighed these little things.

Food is just amazing - what I did expect from a 4* Hotel. The spa area is terrific - we have spent an entire day in the spa area. It is not croweded and quite silent.

I really did not like the bed. Its was a twin bed but with seperate mattresses which makes it hard to sleep (according to your sleeping habits).

Everything was on the top level. Personal, location, all SPA territory. Rooms are very big and comfortable. Bathrooms are also big and everything is there for your comfort. On the territory of hotel is everything for your relaxation. You are really amazing. Huge Thanks! I will come again.

It's not bad thing, but just a little comment. Maybe you can add just bottle of water in the room. Especially if the glasses are already there :) I know that everyone can get a bottle of water from the restaurant area, but it was closed at the night. and also the place neer the pool is always full of people . Maybe you need to think how to increase that place. But again it's just a small comments. Overall everything is great.

Heaven in the mountains

This resort is incredible. The view, the pools and saunas, the rooms - everything was wonderful and made us feel extremely relaxed! The staff were super friendly and accommodating.

We really liked the buffet , but for a wellness resort they should definitely add more plant based/vegan dishes to the menu. That would make the experience even more amazing!

A little peace of heaven at Tuffbad ♡

I totally loved the surroundings. It's a beautiful location ♡🌲🌄. It's like your own little Garden Of Eden this place. The staff was so friendly and helpful. Great hosts and special thanks to Milena who was always happy at our table and putting a smile on our faces too. Thanks to Melanie & Kevin at the reception with great info and to Milan and Stefan behind the bar who made us the best drinks. Relax in Nature. Recharge your batteries

The Staff was very friendly, everything clean. Food delicious. A lot of different Sauna's. Beautiful environment. Comfy rooms! The Area is not overrun by tourists, which we liked. We hope to be back one day!

I came from zell am see to almwellness hotel , in google map and location is showing , 156 kilometers but i came by the 4,5 hour by driving car , because of small road i came more than 2 hour extra driving to the hotel. Just I don’t like the road to the hotel , it’s looking like a dangerous road.

Wunderbarer , erholsamer Urlaub , immer wieder gerne!

Die Lage war für mich das Allerschönste, direkt eingebettet in eine wunderschöne Berglandschaft, von der aus man zu Fuß weg wandern kann und Ruhe findet. Saunalandschaft und Hotelgrösse sehr angenehm , sehr gutes Essen.

Verbessern könnte man den Wasserdruck und Temperaturregelung der Dusche im Zimmer , und teilweise die Temperatur im Restaurant (eher kühl), ansonsten war alles perfekt!

Az étkezési lehetőségek nagyon jól voltak megszervezve. A wellness rész extra volt. A kinti uszoda kiemelkedő élmény volt. A teljes személyzet készséges volt.

Es hat alles gepasst und unsere Erwartungen erfüllt

Außerordentlich freundliches und zu fortkommendes Personal. Das Chalet war sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Frühstück und Abendessen war sehr gut angerichtet und ausgiebig.

Im Winter wäre der Infinitiv Pool und Whirlpool mit 2 bis 3 Grad wärmeren Wasser angenehmer zu verweilen

Wenn man 4*S erwartet wird man enttäuscht

Die Lage des Hotels ist wunderschön, mitten in beeindruckender Bergwelt.

Das Hotel wird der Kategorie 4*S leider nicht gerecht. Die Zimmer sind trotz Reservierung in die Jahre gekommen, der Großteil des Wellnessbereiches ist veraltet, eng und dunkel und liegt im Keller. Der Infinitypool, mit dem geworben wird ist schön, man muss aber vom restlichen Wellnessbereich 2 Stockwerke durch das Hotel laufen um dort hin zu kommen und im einzig neuen und lichtdurchfluteten Ruheraum gibt es so wenig Liegen, dass man gegen eine Gebühr Liegen reservieren muss um eine zu bekommen. Tee wiederum, gibts dort nocht, sondern nur im Keller. Das Essen ist gut, die Buffets lassen zu wünschen übrig. Möchte man zum Frühstück frische Säfte oder Lachs, so gibt es die wiederum nur gegen Aufpreis (18€). Darüberhinaus sollte man gut aufpassen welches Zimmer man bucht. Unseres (extra Kategorie mit Balkon gebucht) lag direkt im Erdgeschoss neben dem Parkplatz und um 6 Uhr morgens wurde man durch laute Lieferfahrzeuge geweckt. Für ein 4 Stern Hotel wäre es ok, 4*Superior wird es unserer Meinung nicht gerecht.

Toller Rückzugsort zum Entspannen

Das Personal war sehr zuvorkommend, die Verpflegung war super und das Zimmer war wirklich groß und urig eingerichtet. Besonders gefallen hat uns die Sauna-Landschaft und das große Angebot an Ruheräumen.

Die Pools könnten, unserer Meinung nach, etwas wärmer sein. Der Infinity Pool ist zwar schön für den Ausblick, man muss sich aber ständig bewegen, um es nicht zu kalt zu haben. Außerdem könnten die Saunen vielleicht etwas früher öffnen. Die meisten machen um 10 Uhr auf. Somit hat man, vor allem am Abreisetag, sehr wenig davon.

Der Infinity Pool war eiskalt - keine Wohlfühltemperatur wie im Internet beschrieben. Dampfsauna erst gegen 13:30 eingeschalten. Whirlpool nur im Nacktbereich nutzbar.

Alles in allem top und erholsam in einer einzigartigen, wunderschönen Umgebung!

Das Essen war qualitativ sehr hochwertig, abwechslungsreich und geschmacklich eine 10 von 10. Das Personal war sehr herzlich und hilfsbereit. Die Wellnesslandschaft ist sehr gross, schön und gepflegt.

Der Fitnessraum könnte eine grössere Auswahl an Kraftgeräten (z. B. Multipresse) aufweisen und die Kabelzüge der bestehenden Kraftgeräte sollten wieder mal gewartet werden, damit sie ohne Wackeln verlaufen. Schade ist, dass man die E-Bikes nur für einen Tag (Tagespauschale) mieten kann und nicht für eine oder mehrere Stunden.

Das Hotel war sehr sauber, das Zimmer geräumig und liebevoll vorbereitet – auch für unseren Hund, mit Näpfen und einer kleinen Leckerei. Zum Geburtstag war der Tisch schön gedeckt und es gab einen kleinen Kuchen, was eine sehr nette Geste war. Der Infinitypool und die weitläufige Anlage sorgten insgesamt für eine angenehme Atmosphäre.

Leider war der Wasserdruck in der Dusche recht schwach und es dauerte lange, bis warmes Wasser kam. Auch die Angaben zu den vielen Saunen waren etwas übertrieben – einige davon sind sehr klein. Beim Abendessen verhielt sich eine Kellnerin sehr unangenehm, indem sie unpassende Kommentare zum Essverhalten machte, was in einem Hotel dieser Kategorie unserer Meinung nach unangebracht ist.

Bella struttura anche se non con l'accoglienza e le accortezze che ci saremmo aspettati. Il personale tranne una ragazza molto gentile che molto intelligentemente mettevano all'accoglienza all'arrivo, il resto non capiva o non voleva capire l'inglese tutto era scritto in austriaco avevamo per fortuna il menù a parte su tavolo tradotto non venivano mai asciugati i pavimenti della piscina o della spa e praticamente in tutte le zone era un villaggio per nudisti non eravamo pronti, sapevo del regolamento in sauna anche se trovo l'essere nudi senza asciugamano l'antitesi dell'igiene, ma negli altri spazi assolutamente no, ma per loro era normale...

Tolle Anlage in sehr schöner Alleinlage, liebe Menschen im Personal, tolles Essen auf hohem Niveau. Gerne wieder,

Sehr schöne Anlage, nicht zu groß, zusätzlich entzerrt durch die einzelnen Chalets. So bleibt der alpine Charakter erhalten. Dies gilt ebenso für den Wellnessbereich mit dem traumhaften Aussenpool. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und kompetent. Wünsche werden sofort erfüllt. Langjährige Mitarbeiter, also auch gute Gastgeber. Frühstück und Abendmenü waren 1a! Sehr gut sortierter Weinkeller. Die Brotzeit am Nachmittag und Kuchenbuffet sind ein schönes Schmankerl. Vom Haus weg sind schöne Wanderungen und auch anspruchsvolle Bergtouren möglich, ohne das Kfz. nutzen zu müssen. Auch 2 E Ladestationen stehen zur Verfügung. Rundum ein sehr schöner Urlaub, wir kommen wieder.
