Incredible!! Stop looking for your hotel in Naxos and book this.

Amazing stay!!! We stayed an extra 2 nights because we loved it so much. This hotel exceeded our expectations. Amazing value for money. The staff were so so friendly and hospitable. The rooms are cleaned (exceptionally well) daily. We had a top floor room and the view was INCREDIBLE. If we went back I would definitely be requesting a top floor room. It is only a couple of (easy) flights of stairs and so so worth it. The sunsets over the sea and mountains are seriously incredible. It’s an easy 10 minute stroll to one of the best beaches on the island. 3 minutes away from the bus stop. Location couldn’t be any better. Air con worked super well. Little kitchenette had everything we needed for a weeks stay (we did need to ask for a kitchen knife which they were happy to supply!). They also offer breakfast for 7€ which we thought was super reasonable although can’t comment on the breakfast as we didn’t partake. They also have a bar next to the pool which nobody was utilising enough but good that they can offer it :)

Shower was a little small and we didn’t always have super hot water, but in the warm weather it didn’t matter. I’m just being nit picky because this place was so good!

The staff (Maria, in particular) were friendly and helpful, providing us with all the additional things we needed. The view was amazing and the apartment cleaned every day.

The bathroom was really small (could have been more comfortable) + the bathroom door didn’t lock or even close properly. Quite noisy if you want your windows open (the roosters from the nearby farm are extremely loud).

Brilliant location and wonderful staff

Great location and beautiful, friendly staff. The bedrooms were kept immaculately clean each day and Maria and Michael were incredibly kind and helpful when our ferry was cancelled. They let us stay at the property for the day and gave us use of a shower so we could freshen up for the rearranged late night ferry. There is a bus stop a few minutes walk from the hotel so you can easily get a bus to other beaches and into Naxos town. Only a 5-10 minute walk into Agios Prokopios.

Avoid this hotel

View from the pool

The pictures from Booking.com did not match our room at all. See attached pictures. We had booked 6 nights, but we left after 2 hours and had to pay for an additional hotel. This is the first time we have done this after traveling for 30 years. The room was worn down, and unclean. Dead moskitos on the walls and dead cricket in the closet. On the picture from Booking.com there is an aircondition in the living room where our kids sleeps, in reality there was not. The pool area looks fantastic on Booking.com, in reality at was not good. The palms had died.

Lovely family run accommodation

The accommodation is comfortable and spotlessly clean, all of the staff are really helpful and friendly, it's a family run business.

I would have liked a mirror in the bedroom and more lighting but these are very minor things.

Wonderful time

Everybody was helpful and sweet. They cleaned our room every day, and we could use the outdoor pool whenever we liked. The bus stop was close to the hotel. The streets were clean and quiet. There are many different good tavernas and sandy beaches. Our Host Maria and her family did a great job. They were very informative about the island, helping us figuring out what to visit, there was fresh breakfast every morning with a variety of fruits, yoghurt, charcuterie, coffee and tea. It was a very good experience overall.

Hidden little gem

Dilino is a family run business with a very warm welcome. The rooms are a good size with very comfortable beds. Everything is exceptionally clean as is the pool and communal areas along with lovely sun loungers. The hotel is about a 15 minute walk away from the town centre with no road noise or interference from other hotels but there are eateries in the immediate vicinity and breakfast is available at a very reasonable price. Maria and her family are so friendly and nothing is too much trouble, I would definitely recommend this place to stay.

There wasn't anything I disliked although I would have liked more light in the bathroom but that's just my personal taste.

Couldn’t have asked for more perfect stay !

The location was perfect next to one of naxos beautiful beaches and many lovely restaurants and supermarkets, located right next to a bus stop that brings you to the main town buses going every half hour making it very convenient. But most of all the staff went above and beyond to make sure our stay was enjoyable we would particularly like to thank Maria who was the loveliest host. Would 100% recommend and will be back !!

Bang for your buck

I thought the property was a beautiful location. It’s easy to walk to the beach but not so easy to get the public transportation. So if you want to go to the port or main area it’s going to run you 20 euros for a 5 minute cab. There’s also not any restaraunts around or mini Marts…. You have to walk 13 minutes to find these but honestly it’s a nice walk. The rooms were clean except everything is super white so stains show up really easy during the day. I saw a couple blood stains and other mysterious stains on my bed and on the towels. But the good thing is if this happens they change it daily l. The shower was also a bit questionable. The pool area is beautiful and a great place to spend the day relaxing. The host and the cleaners were always there if I had questions and were very helpful. I think it’s a great place for value in Naxos. Also always make sure to pre book your taxi when leaving this location as it’s hard to find one right away during busy times.

A scenic beach holiday on a Greek island.

The rooms all had verandas facing on the pool and on the sea. The views were beautiful. Our host Maria was a gem, providing lots of warm friendly advice about things to see, where to get the best food. She served an excellent Greek breakfast each morning for just 6 Euros. she helped us get an inexpensive rental car - delivered to the hotel. The closest beach was beautiful and just a 10 minute walk away. The bus stop to get to other beaches was a 2 minute walk. An excellent experience!

The pool and the balcony

The location is far from the port and hard to access. When we arrived there was no one in the reception, and we had to wait 30 minutes for the staff to arrive, even after we called them to tell them we were there. The bathroom was small and the shower had no shower curtain, making the bathroom completely wet when showering. The beds were very hard, and you could feel the springs through the mattress.

This is a quiet hotel, with a nice pool, quite a long walk from the beach but Maria makes the stay .

Maria is fantastic! All the staff are very friendly. Loved the little area outside the room where we could sit and have a drink. Views are good. The pool is nice, but can get busy. Breakfast was good.

It’s a long way from the beach. Showers with no shower curtains are dreadful.

Very nice pool. Location was ok too, 10min walk from the shops and restaurants. The lady at the reception was nice.

There were so many mosquitos in the room. A net would have been nice! Room was a bit dated and shower was awful. Water was going everywhere... The guy at the reception did not have a great day once and he was yelling a lot to someone on the phone which was a bit disturbing. Maybe next time have the calls in room as it causes distress during holiday when someone is yelling. I know we all have bad days sometimes and that's ok, but keep it private.

Lovely pool, but hotel needs work!

The owners were lovely - Maria and her brother in law, Mike were so kind and welcoming and gave fresh watermelon and cheeses and wine from their father’s farm each day which was a lovely touch. The pool was lovely and cool and relaxing especially after a day at the beach. The rooms though were not so great. They are very outdated, beds are uncomfortable and hot very clean. No mattress protectors, just one sheet over the mattress and no top sheet. One ac for two rooms so the rooms were not as cool as they could have been. Fridge was very old and broken and we had some kind of tiny tv from the 1980’s with no remote that was just stuck up in the corner or the ceiling with bare wires hanging from it. The shower was a nightmare to use as it had no hook so washing hair was quite a challenge in the tiny space and invariably the whole tiny bathroom gets completely soaked and the drainage was blocked. Nearby there are plenty of lovely tavernas to eat at and drink at. Plenty is mini marts too. The beach is absolutely beautiful. We had such lovely days there. The location is great (although you will need a car in Naxos - just too difficult to get around and explore otherwise) In a nutshell - lovely owners, great location, hotel has much potential But just needs some care, love and attention and updating.

Très déçue pour le prix.

Le personnel est plutôt agréable. A l' écoute en cas de besoin. Je les ai peur vus durant mon séjour.

La chambre ne correspondait pas à la description du studio que j'avais loué. L' équipement inexistant, impossible de cuisiner vraiment ! Des odeurs d' égout dans la chambre. Pas de poubelle mise à disposition dans le coin cuisine. Dans la salle de bain pas de shampoing ni gel douche. Pas de rideaux a douche ! On en met partout ! Pas possibilité de tenir le pommeau de douche. La rambarde de l' escalier qui ne tient pas, c'est dangereux. Par ailleurs la plage est quasiment toute privatisée par des transats ! Ce qui selon moi dénature l' endroit plutôt joli ceci dit. Franchement très déçue pour le prix .
