Location was great, a few minutes walk to the Kobarid Museum. There was limited parking out back. The elevator artwork is fun! This might be the only real "hotel" (not a guesthouse) in Kobarid?? Professionally run by a family. Everything was fine and clean and comfortable. Friendly desk staff.
Be aware there is no A/C, though it cools down at night and we didn't miss it at all. A small fridge in the room would have been great. Bathroom setup was a little awkward, but absolutely functional.

What stood out more than anything was the wonderful, helpful and friendly staff! Tea, Tanja at front desk were awesome, as was Nate in the restaurant. Dinner and service was phenomenal. Breakfast was nothing special, but several good choices for a start the day. I was traveling solo, so room was super small, but comfortable bed and nice little bathroom. No a/c but a fan provided worked very well. Location and free parking was the best.
Overall, a lovely experience and I would definitely stay there again on my return.
The bar/ restaurant across the street was a bit noisy. I like to have windows open for fresh air, especially in a small room. Not really possible because there were several loud talking people.
