I would really like to request a full refund because the property was not at all what we expected based on the listing and description. The place looked old and poorly maintained, and the room assigned to us was extremely far from the main area and from where we parked. It was raining very heavily at the time, and getting to the room required going through several steps and slippery pathways, which felt unsafe given the weather conditions. Earlier that morning, I already called Agoda to ask if we could move or reschedule our booking because of the very bad weather. Unfortunately, the request was not allowed. When we arrived, our concerns became even more valid because the property layout made it very difficult and unsafe to move around in heavy rain. There was also very limited to no signal in the area. The room itself was disappointing, and the view was not what we expected at all—it was facing a dark, overgrown forest area that felt uncomfortable and scary, especially with the bad weather. When we finally reached the room, we were already soaking wet. There was no umbrella provided, and there was not even a proper mat at the entrance despite the rain and slippery conditions. Because of the extremely heavy rain, the long distance from the room to the car, the numerous steps, slippery pathways, and overall safety concerns, we felt that we could not reasonably stay there. We checked out only about five minutes after entering the room. We did not use the accommodation or stay overnight. We left almost immediately because we genuinely felt that the conditions were unsafe and the property was very different from what was represented in the listing. Given these circumstances, I sincerely request that Agoda and the property reconsider and provide us with a full refund. We made an effort to request a change in advance because of the weather, and after personally seeing the property and the conditions upon arrival, staying there was simply not a safe or reasonable option for us.
