Sif Apartments by Heimaleiga

The apartment is very conveniently located with lots of restaurants within walking distance. There is also a P4 parking with a 5 min walk away. The areas just in front of the apartment are all P2. We never parked in the building so don’t know how that is. We never had an issue finding parking close. The rooms are clean and having a washer and dryer was a lifesaver. We never heard any noises from the neighbors so I am assuming the walls are very well insulated.

It was easy to get to the property and instructions to access the apartment were clear. Apartment was very clean and kitchen was well appointed. My personal dislikes, and these may not matter to others, were the inability to control the apartment temperature (for me it was too hot) and unclear information regarding parking and parking costs. It really was a pleasant stay.

All are good. Except that there is no sea view

When I’m fortunate enough to be able to return to Reykjavik, I will rent from Sif Apartments again. Having a washer and dryer, full kitchen, a bedroom, and balcony made for a relaxing trip. The floor warmers were super nice when it was a bit chilly and rainy outside. The soundproofing was a blessing; we never heard any other residents. I highly recommend this location as it was easy to get to what we needed and wanted to see. There was a view of the harbor and the bus stop was right around the corner - less than 5 min walk.
