Clean room, lady at hotel was nice but odd check in procedures, breakfast was so so

It is located right in the tourist area and is in an old mansion/building. the room has an updated bath which worked well, the bed was decent and the a/c was good. The breakfast was okay, not anything special compared to other places we stayed in Greece. One table does have a view of the Parthenon in the rooftop breakfast. For the price, we were expecting a bit more as we stayed a block away at another hotel a week earlier for a little more than half the price, we realize we should have stayed there again instead. There is no desk and we had to use a code to open the doors and had confusion at first because there are two different entrances to the hotel depending on your room number. This wasted a good 30 minutes by the time the person was able to explain that we were at the wrong entrance.

Small room but excellent overall experience! Bed was comfortable. Food was excellent. Staff was kind and helpful.

This is a little gem hotel, in the middle of Plaka, and in front of the Acropolis. Every morning you go up to the roof where you get your breakfast from this wonderful lady call Angela that is such a server, and you could see the most beautiful views of the monuments. They’re very helpful in case of anything and always answer the messages on the phone and I would highly recommend anybody who wants to see Athens to stay there because it is in the middle of everything.
