I would stay at Nestos again

Friendly hotel

The employees are really friendly and helpful! Very good arrival, nice and friendly as well. Breakfast is good, just like the parking space! I would recommend the hotel for sure! Large, nice bed with good pillows!

I expected there was a restaurant in the hotel, but it's more like a bar with small things to eat. But there are plenty of restaurants nearby! Also the room was not soundproof, so you hear a bit streetnoise and a bit noise in the hotel.

Lovely stay.

It was a stop over for a family trip and we really enjoyed our stay. Everything was lovely but most of all the staff with their professionalism, polite manners and friendliness made us feel very welcome.

Surprisingly grear experience

I frankly don't understand how this establishment doesn't have a much greater score on Booking, because it definitely deserves more, judging by our experience. The staff was very friendly and helpful. At the arrival they served us a glass of a very delicious local liquor. The room was spaceous, bright and clean, the bath as well, the bed and pillows were very comfortable. Our room had a beautiful view of the mountains and it was facing the highway, but oddly enough it wasn't noisy. The breakfast was diverse and delicious. Would definitely recommend and come back

Short stay in Xanthi, friendly Hotel Staff

The location was great, since we had a car we could easily go anywhere. Plus point is that the property has free parking space on site. The staff were very nice and always friendly. We had a great welcome at the reception during check in. Also the property is 24/7 open. I liked that the staff left some easter treats in our room after cleaning it. Thank you:)

Unfortunately, the breakfast lacked vegan/vegetarian options. The only real vegan options were bread with margarine and jam / tomato & cucumber. Also the fresh fruit options were limited to just orange & apple. There was a lot of dust under the bed, people with dust mite allergy should be careful of this. We also shared this feedback with the reception at the property.

Night in Xanthi

Clean comfortable room. Parking. The breakfast was good enough, it was included in price. We stayed just one night, but I can recommend this hotel to my friends.

There is no mosquito net on the window. The shower did not attach well to the wall.

I expected higher value for money.

Excellent location

Pretty outdated despite the renovation. In photos it seems to be very new and modern but in reality renovation is decent but still has old essence. Also I didn't like the fact that the door cannot be locked and the bed was very uncomfortable. Breakfast was basic and not tasty.

Good for a day or two but if you have to stay longer and unpack...well?

Excellent access from the high way. Parking in front of hotel is convenient to unload luggage. Two grate supermarkets right next to the hotel.

Lack of storage space in the room. Poor ventilation in the bathroom and a very small space to take shower (not even a soap-holder in it), though bathroom by itself is spacious enough.

Price and service are really good.

Breakfast is richer than many four star hotels in Europe. There are many options in the breakfast.

The bathroom curtains prevent to have comfortable bath. They stick to body when they get wet.

Average stay on Xanthi

Average hotel. Nice and polite staff. If like walking, the old city is about 25 min walking. It should be 10 Euros cheaper. Does not worth what they are charging. Anyway we stayed 1 night so it was not a big deal.

Room was little cold. A bit far from old city. Low quality A bit pricey for what you get.

Fair enough especially for the summer travellers

The staff is good. They welcomed us very well. The breakfast is well packed and put into the fridge. The selection of breakfast was very good and enough for one person. Also there was a water heater into the room, along with some packed instant coffe and tea. Also, the hotel is very close to the Lidl Market. It is not in the center but the location is close enough to the city and also having a parking lot is a great advantage for the ones who are travelling with their own car.

The air conditioner/heater was a bit noisy and was not enough to heat the room. Because the season is winter, the room was very very cold and we spent our time under the blanket.
