About this chalet rental
Everything you need for a great stay in Hunter: 1mi from skiing and close to many hikes, 4 bd 2 ba, large renovated kitchen, dining room for 8, firepit, grill, puzzles, Roku and karaoke mics!
Never Lonesome is a stylish and cozy chalet meant for sharing with friends and family. It boasts 4 bedrooms and 2 baths, with a dining table that seats 8 and a beautiful kitchen for preparing the perfect meal. Very close to Hunter Mountain, our house is the perfect place to retire after a long day of skiing or hiking. On rainy days inside, we have puzzles, games, Roku and best of all, Karaoke Microphones to sing along to your favorite tunes. In the evening, toast marshmallows over the fire pit and gaze up at the stars. We recently installed a handrail and cable spindles to make our stairs more safe for adults and especially kids! New picture coming soon!

Other things to note
The firepit and grill area on the front side of the house are private, but the backside of the house is very near our neighbors. They’re incredibly friendly— they help us take care of the property. And the entire time we’ve owned the house, we’ve never had any issues with them whatsoever. But if you are looking for a remote location, Never Lonesome is probably not the spot for you. We are between two well-traveled roads.

Nice little house to stay in if you're looking to spend time in the mountains. It's old, for sure, but it was comfortable and conveniently located. Hosts were great about communicating. It was a nice, chill vacation.

The house was great! If staying in the Hunter area, this location can't be beat! It's a 2 minute drive to Hunter mountain or a nice walk. The kitchen had everything you could need to make meals at home or head to one of the nearby restaurants or neighboring towns for some exploring! Comfortable beds, board games for the family, outdoor firepit and grill, and laundry on site! The hosts were easy to communicate with and check-in was a breeze!
