The views from this two-bedroom villa are pretty as a picture. By day the sunlight makes the waters of Vathy bay sparkle in every imaginable shade of blue, and as night falls the harbor lights twinkle and beckon you down to sample its tempting waterfront tavernas. All around are green hillsides fragrant with wild herbs, and at the heart of it is a pretty house surrounded by wide terraces to catch the breeze on a hot summer's day. The interiors are comfortable, well laid out, and simply decorated, with all rooms having a light, welcoming feel, while outside, the lovely pool is perfect for a dip at any time of day. Below the villa, the small pebble beach of Minimata, with its clear blue water, is a wonderfully enticing option for a little snorkeling. If you'd like to explore more of the island from the sea, boat hire is readily available in Vathy, just a 5-minute drive away, where you’ll also find the widest selection of tavernas, shops and cafes on the island. The kilometre readings given in these directions are only for guidance and may not be exact. If you have requested any booster or child seats, please ensure you check the fittings before you set off. Please take care driving on these roads and remember to drive on the right! FROM PISO AETOS PORT (Estimated journey time 20 minutes) Step 1 After you have collected your car from the Piso Aetos port, head up the hill away from the Port. Climb all the way up the hill, being careful of very sharp corners and oncoming traffic.  Step 2 At the brow of the hill you will see various signs for archaeological sites. Continue over the brow and down the other side.  At the bottom of the hill is a T-junction.  Turn RIGHT, following the signs for “Vathy”.   Step 3 Follow this road, passing an “EKO” petrol station on your LEFT.  Continue along this road with the harbour on your LEFT and passing the square on your RIGHT. Follow this harbour road around the bay, turning RIGHT on the uphill fork (blue sign for Odyssey apartments) and continue to drive up the hill.  Step 4 At the brow of the hill you will see a large black gate on the left.  Turn in here and you will then see a SIMPSON TRAVEL sign.  Turn RIGHT here, up a small tarmac road,follow the road around to the LEFT to The Bay House.  Welcome to The Bay House! FROM VATHY PORT (Estimated journey time 5 minutes) Step 1 Collect your car and head along the harbour road, away from Vathy (this would be LEFT as you step off ferry).   Step 2 Continue along this road with the harbour on your LEFT and passing the square on your RIGHT.  Follow the harbour road around the bay, turn at a right uphill fork (blue sign for Odyssey apartments) and drive up the hill. Step 3 At the brow of the hill you will see a large black gate on the LEFT, turn in here, you will then see a SIMPSON TRAVEL sign, turn right here up a small tarmac road, follow the road around to the LEFT to The Bay House.
