Nice, large space. Clean and inviting. Didn’t find the surrounding area as attractive as pictured. Didn’t receive check-in instructions until two days prior and needed to share with friends who were traveling. Overall a good experience.

We stayed only two nights and wished we could have stayed longer. The apartment was roomy, very clean and so comfortable. We could access the retreat center to enjoy the bakery cafe, the common room and the breakfast dining room. We walked the trails, walked to the play ground, and art store. We traveled the short distance to Fayette State Park and took in the history of the area and beauty of Lake Michigan. I hope we can visit again!

The Garden Retreat center was perfect for our all girls’ winter get away. The center was quiet. Everyone we met was very nice and helpful. The apartment is spacious and well stocked for meal prep and cooking. The grounds allowed us to do some cross-country skiing.
