Villa Corallia Sans Vis-a-vis

Villa Corallia was a beautiful peaceful oasis, the only trouble being that the pool & garden, and peace and quiet, made it hard to leave to go out and explore this wonderful part of Mauritius!We had a wonderful stay- Davina was an extremely helpful and responsive host, and we enjoyed some delicious meals prepared by Carmel, in addition to the spectacular house, garden, pool and driving the golf buggy down to the beach. We would come back in a flash!It's worth noting that the rooms are all detached from one another, and the main house, which is wonderful for privacy, but something to consider if you're visiting as families with children (though one of the rooms does have a small attached bunk room).

In short: stop browsing and book this place. We were a party of eight, with four adults and four teens. The property is vast providing plenty of private and common space. The reality is a little bit better than the pics. What we really valued: - Lots a space both inside and outside. Even with cyclone Freddy hitting us, we could sit outside on the patio. Beautiful swimming pool - A part of Sofitel resort with beautiful surrounding, beach and restaurant - Very good location to see Mauritius south/east/west part of island - Supermarket under 10min drive - Private garden were cant be seen + garden protects from wind - Very good Creole cooking by Carmelle and pancakes from breakfast. Was a relief just to sit to the table after 24h of travelling. She also kept the villa in perfect condition during our stay - Davina also arranged us huge amount of pre-purchased items from the supermarket by Ricardo, who also kept the garden and outdoor areas in perfect shape The only minus was AC in one of the bedrooms: it really wasn’t working as good as all the other ACs in the villa. However this bedroom had also the bund bed room and that room had a separate AC. As we kept this AC running, the big bedroom was ok to sleep. Overall: a true five star place
