If you’re looking for peace and quiet, nature, and beautiful scenery, welcome to Clémentine’s home in Montesquieu des Albères.
You’ll be welcomed to a peaceful haven on a lush, green estate spanning over 2 hectares, bordered by the Tech River—perfect for long walks, fishing, and swimming in the cool waters for those who enjoy it.
The property offers many amenities for you to enjoy during your stay, such as a private pool, a tennis court, and a pétanque court (here, the winner buys the Pastis)—all set within a large park perfect for all kinds of ball games...
The first floor of the house consists of a large 80-square-meter living area, comprising a living room, a dining room, a kitchen, and a pantry.
The floor-to-ceiling windows open onto a large shaded terrace overlooking the park, the perfect spot for breakfast, lunch, dinner, or evenings spent enjoying the cool air.
Upstairs, you’ll find 6 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms, as follows:
1 master suite with a full bathroom
2 bedrooms with 140-cm beds and their own shower rooms
2 bedrooms with two single beds
1 bedroom with 4 single beds.
1 full bathroom
For added comfort, all rooms are equipped with ultra-quiet, reversible air conditioning with individual controls.
This farmhouse is perfectly located on the plain, at the foot of the Albères Mountains; it is less than 20 minutes from the sea, 20 minutes from the Spanish border, and 30 minutes from Perpignan...
You can go on long hikes in the Albères Mountains (the Pic du Néoulous, at 1,257 meters, overlooks the plain—about a 3-hour hike) or take a beautiful hike along the ridges on the GR 10 trail, which will take you to Banyuls-sur-Mer in about 7 hours of walking.
The Roussillon region is rich in Romanesque art, and not far away in the Corbières Mountains, the Cathar castles are also worth exploring.
Many quintessentially Catalan villages, such as Collioure, Castenou, and many others, will welcome you and charm you with their picturesque settings as well as their restaurants serving Catalan cuisine.
