One wing of the three-sided courtyard features a large room with an exposed roof truss, a fully equipped kitchen, a light-filled sunroom, and an open gallery. It’s a wonderful place to spend time together.
The “Refugium” wing of the building (large kitchen, common room, gallery) is available for use when no seminars or workshops are taking place.
The other wing of the building contains three vacation apartments, each with three rooms spread over two levels.
Each apartment has two bedrooms, a bathroom, and a living/sleeping area with a kitchenette.
The Refugium is a stylish three-sided courtyard with many secluded spots, making it ideal for family or friends of all ages to gather. Vast fields surround the Refugium in the idyllic village of Lauta, nestled in the heart of the Lusatian Lake District. The property is generously laid out and is located at the edge of the small village of Lauta, right in the middle of the Lusatian Lake District.
The Refugium wing features a large room (60 m² floor area) with an open-concept attic and gallery, a large, fully equipped kitchen with panoramic windows, a cooking island, and a pantry, as well as a light-filled sunroom (25 m² floor area).
The apartment wing features three apartments with a total of nine separate living areas (six double bedrooms, three living-sleeping rooms with high-quality sofa beds, and three bathrooms).
In the third wing, a private sauna loft invites you to relax.
It’s an 8-minute bike ride to Lake Senftenberg.
The retreat is located in the heart of the Lusatian Lake District and is an ideal starting point for bike tours. Lake Erika is located 200 m behind the house, where you can take a peaceful walk or jog along its shores.
The three-sided farmstead opened in January 2020.
Check-in is available from 4:00 PM to 9:00 PM, and check-out is from 7:00 AM to 10:00 AM.
