THINGS TO DISCOVER IN THE REGION
FECAMP: authenticity and natural charm. Until 1204, Fécamp was the residence of the Dukes of Normandy. Today, it is a “City of Art and History.” Cap Fagnet, its beach, its harbor, the Bénédictine Palace…

YPORT: a small fishing village, now a seaside resort where painters, writers, photographers, and sculptors love to settle down.

ETRETAT: a landscape unique in the world with its majestic cliffs. Its golf course sits atop the cliffs overlooking the sea and the Bay of Etretat.

LE HAVRE: listed as an UNESCO World Heritage Site for the city center rebuilt by Auguste Perret. 2017 “A Summer in Le Havre”: The city celebrates its 500th anniversary.

HONFLEUR: You’ll cross the Normandy Bridge, and then you’ll be charmed by this “city of painters” with its picturesque alleyways and its old harbor lined with restaurants.

ROUEN, on the banks of the Seine, is a veritable open-air museum, with its beautiful half-timbered houses, cobblestone streets, and Gothic churches. Rouen was the site of the martyrdom of Joan of Arc, who was condemned and burned at the stake in 1431 at the Place du Vieux Marché.

VEULES-LES-ROSES, one of Normandy’s most beautiful villages, where, as you follow the Veules—at 1,149 meters, France’s shortest river—for 1,149 meters, you’ll discover mills, seaside-style villas, flower-adorned thatched-roof cottages, washhouses, watercress beds… And its sandy beach at low tide.
