GREAT LOCATION! You will feel right at home in this cozy, fully renovated cottage-style home. Sunflower Station is conveniently located less than 2 miles from MSU Campus and downtown Starkville, and less than 1/2 mile to University Drive. This simple, yet stylish space is perfect for professionals visiting for work in the local area, families visiting their favorite MSU student, touring campus, and of course visits for MSU Game Days to support your favorite athlete and sport!
The space
Remodeled Cottage! Sunflower Station is a single story, 900 square feet of comfortable living space that includes 2 bedrooms / 1 bathroom, a fully furnished kitchen. It also has a large backyard - not common in this neighborhood -perfect for a drink while you bird watch or watch the big and little kids burn off some energy.
* Less than 2 miles from MSU Campus and downtown Starkville.
* Less than 1/2 mile to University Drive. Walkable distance or an easy drive/Uber/Lyft/Stark Kart.
* Less than 1/2 mile to HWY 182 and new bike/walking connector path.
* Easy, direct access to Hwy 182. Located just north of HWY 182.
This single-story home features numerous amenities and space for relaxing both inside and outside. Whether you are here for game days, family trips, or work, please make yourself at home! Please ask about extended stay or long term rental options.
• Fully equipped kitchen with everything you need to create that perfect tailgate menu or homecooked meal! Kitchen features includes:
- Coffee maker (Keurig & standard drip coffee pot) plus packages of both regular and decaf coffee, and tea
- Plenty of pots and pans, dishes, cups, glasses, flatware, cooking utensils
- Basic kitchen condiments including flour, sugar, spray oil, salt, pepper, various spices
- Full size refrigerator
- Full size oven
- Dishwasher. Dishwasher detergent is available for your use
- Microwave
• Dining area with a dining table that seats 6 comfortably for dinner or game night with friends and family.
• Bedrooms with plush QUEEN size beds. Blackout curtains.
• Full size Sleeper Sofa
• Living room with sleeper sofa and swivel armchairs and a large 65" Samsung Smart TV.
• YouTube TV is available for all guests. There are over 100 channels available including local channels, national channels, and SEC Network.
• Free 250 Mbps speed WiFi
• Laundry area with full size washer and dryer, handheld garment steamer, iron, and ironing board. Detergent and fabric softener are available for your use.
• Back Porch and large fenced in yard perfect for kids to run off some energy.
• Ample parking for 2 vehicles, 3 vehicles max.
GETTING AROUND:
There is parking available at the cottage for 2 vehicles, 3 vehicles maximum. There is no on-street parking available.
The house is a short Uber/Lyft ride to MSU Campus, Cotton District, Downtown Starkville and Rick's Cafe.
Stark Kart will pick up and deliver to the house. You can find their services on FB and Insta. I'll be glad to send their information via private message.
The Cotton District, Downtown Starkville, and the new Campus Connector bike/walking path are walkable from this house. However, there is no side walk on Old West Point Road. I would advise caution in biking/walking from the house to HWY 182 due to traffic.

Great place, clean and quiet neighborhood! Got to visit our favorite restaurants and see the beautiful campus and vet school:)
