This is simply one of the coolest places you'll ever stay. It's right in the middle of an absolutely charming little town and it sits right on the canal. I'll let the photos tell you the rest. The attention to detail and decor in this place is off the charts, down to the under the bed motion activated floor light. The only thing I would change is the curtains/shades. This place has numerous windows that all look out onto the street. The curtains are sheer, so people outside could see in and there's no way to block out the street lights or the sun. Otherwise, this place is outstanding! Book it. You won't regret it.

We drove into town for the Detroit Lions season opener and chose to stay a little further from the event. 25 min was well worth the drive. This adorable loft was perfect. We loved the historic look and the jukebox was a lovely touch. We will definitely be back

The loft was fabulous. The kitchen area is large with a huge island and high end appliances. We had a lot of cooking to do to prep for a family reunion and we couldn’t have asked for a better space to do that. Located just a few steps from the Ohio – Erie Canal towpath which allowed for some great biking. The loft was super clean, well appointed with a great sleeping area and a large bathroom. It is located in the heart of Canal Fulton which made it convenient to everything but was quiet at night. Host was great and check in/out super smooth. Highly recommend!

We were visiting the area for a XCC race. It was our first time doing a VRBO! Canal Fulton was a wonderful small town experience. Your beautiful brick loft had every detail perfectly. We were greeted by a light up Christmas tree and holiday decorations. The jukebox was so fun! We got a wonderful morning walk on the canal trails and walked across the street to the coffee shop. Your small hometown feel. Thank you! My mom enjoyed the experience and we hope to come visit again. We loved it! Amy

We rode our tandem on the towpath to Canal Fulton and stayed at this beautiful loft for the third time this summer..it’s right off of the towpath and we really enjoyed the comfort, convenience and cleanliness of this place.

Absolutely loved so much about this property. The space was exactly as depicted - and so cozy! The only reason I gave a 4 on cleanliness was because o did notice some ants and such along the walls, I believe that they are getting in because of the brick

This time was only to meet my husband's niece for lunch the next day but this is a place to stay and enjoy for days! Such a variety of seating arrangements - a place for whatever mood or activity you want to do - just look at the photos and see for yourself. There's also a jukebox to launch your happiness and plenty of room to spread your wings. It's fabulous, extremely clean and you'll find robes and small treats from neighborhood speciality shops to enamor you. You'll love the design and envy the appliances and think of ways to try and copy the sensor activated under bed lighting and more. Enjoy!

I booked this fabulous stay for my out of state family instead of a hotel! As soon as we all walked in our jaws dropped! Every detail was considered to make their stay and my family feel important! It definitely left an impression and as they left in the morning, they took a photo standing outside with the door shut and took a photo with the caption of, “Goodbye Cornerstone! They loved their stay! We loved it also that we booked a stay even though we live five minutes away! This was their first experience with a vrbo and I have a feeling this will be their go to everytime they visit!!!! Thank you all so much!!!!!!

So excited to stay in this beautifully renovated building. It was a nostalgic celebration of my daughter's 50th birthday since she grew up in Canal Fulton! The jukebox is genius! We rode our bike on the towpath to Canal Fulton and stayed in this lovely place overnight..it was clean and comfortable, historic but with all of the modern conveniences. We hope to return to Canal Fulton in the future and will definitely stay at The Cornerstone on the Canal if there’s availability.

We stayed at this property for a week and we’re absolutely charmed by both the unit and the small town. The rehab on this 1850’s building was done beautifully. They created a NYC feeling loft with modern finishes while maintaining the old character with the exposed brick and open ceiling. We loved the mid-century modern furniture and had a blast with the jukebox. We’re already trying to figure out another date to stay here.
