About this apartment rental
A magnificent, spacious 64 m² (56 m² Carrez) duplex in the 5-star Mont Blanc Residence & Spa, nestled in the heart of the Chamonix Valley.
The residence invites you to relax for a few nights or more in a mountain setting with a cozy, home-like atmosphere. Right at the foot of the slopes and the SNCF train station.
3-room apartment with 2 bedrooms
First floor: 32 m² living room with TV, bathroom, 1 bedroom with 2 single beds and TV
1st floor: 1 bedroom with a double bed, private bathroom
Sheets, bath towels, and pool towels are provided, and the beds are made
The fifth sleeping spot is on the sofa bed in the living room, where only a pillow and a single duvet are provided. You will therefore need to bring a bedspread, a duvet cover, and a pillowcase. We can provide these for an additional fee of €30, payable on site
A fully equipped kitchen (Nespresso or drip coffee maker, raclette and fondue sets, oven, microwave, toaster...)
Ski lifts right at your doorstep for the Balme and Le Tour ski areas
Train station a 2-minute walk away, with access to numerous ski areas in the Mont Blanc Valley (Grands-Montet, Chamonix, Saint-Gervais... etc.)
Cross-country ski trails start right in front of the residence
Ice rink on the terrace in winter
Ski boots are not allowed on the upper floors of the residence or inside the apartment.
For summer:
Numerous hiking trails accessible directly on foot, less than 2 minutes from the residence
Various outdoor activities: canyoning, mountaineering, etc.
Mini-golf and ping-pong table on the residence’s outdoor terrace
Free private indoor parking with a remote-controlled gate and heated ski lockers.
Available at the residence: swimming pool, sauna, fitness center, games, soccer field, and basketball court.
Paid services: spa, steam room, breakfast, grocery store, cleaning service, ice rink in winter, and mini-golf in summer (affordable weekly family rates)
Check-in is after 4:00 PM, and the unit must be vacated by 10:00 AM.
Marc, the concierge, will be happy to welcome you. In case of a late arrival, you can find the keys in a secure box accessible via a code.
If you’re arriving with two cars, you’ll have a spot in the residence’s indoor parking lot and the option to park outdoors in the train station parking lot across the street (free). No parking space constraints or parking fees here!
The accommodations are 20 minutes from downtown Chamonix and 1 minute from the Swiss border (Martigny is 20 minutes away).
You can choose to explore the surrounding area by train (free).

BALME 25 Cosy appartment well-equiped but we were not informed beforehand that the light in one of the bedrooms, toilet and shower was not working and the fridge was not working as well (too warm inside). The concierge gave us all the information too quickly with lots of codes to remember, he seemed to be in a hurry and not very helpful when we needed some info. We were isolated in the village for 5 days because of the heavy snow and risk avalanche and when I asked info about the tunnel, I was told that he didn't have time to explain to me so I found it very rude. We paid a huge amount of money to be stuck there, no supermarket, no ski lessons so we will not go back. Last year experience in Dormio Appts was much better.
