Wonderful neighborhood and close to restaurants and bars…wonderful beds!!

Love historic homes, cool funky neighborhoods, lounging on porches with a good book, sleeping with the cool breeze of a ceiling fan? Then this house is for you. There is no more charming spot to explore all San Antonio has to offer. Incredibly clean and orderly, lovingly decorated, terrific amenities. Our host was very responsive to our needs, such as tightening the squeaky metal bedframe while we were out. The covered porches front and back really added to the quality of our visit. We absolutely loved it and will return. One of my favorite VRBO properties ever.

Loved staying here with my tennis team for a tournament at McFarlin tennis center. Close to amazing restaurants and especially the tournament. Beds were comfortable, house had everything we needed and didn’t pack. Very clean!!

This property is located on a quiet street. It has a lovely covered porch in front and a large deck in back for dining and relaxing. The living room is lovely and there is a large kitchen. Description of the bedrooms on the VRBO site indicated 3 bedrooms and sleeping 6. However, this is incorrect. There were two very nice bedrooms, one with a king bed and one with a queen. The “third bedroom” consisted of a twin bed located in a laundry room. There was no closet or rolling clothes rack to hang clothes. There were no drawers to unpack clothes. There was no bedside table with lamp, just an overhead light. The worst part of this room was the door to the hallway that had a large window in it. Light from the security light, which could not be turned off, shone through the window so the room was never dark for sleeping. I slept in this room and it was miserable. This property would be wonderful for 2 couples or 2 people who wanted individual rooms. It should be listed as a 2 bedroom property that sleeps 4.
