Allow yourself to take a deep breath in and relax as you settle in at the Bird House. This beautiful tiny home is located within The Retreat at Water’s Edge, a gated luxury tiny home community. The Bird House is a well-designed home with extra space for a family yet still small enough to feel cozy. The Bird House has an enclosed veranda for extra social space and a full covered porch with a porch swing. There is a built-in 6000w overhead heater for those chilly mornings or nights sitting on the porch. There is a relaxing sitting area around the firepit with a swing, adirondack chairs and café lights for the evening hours. This property has beautiful landscaping with bird houses & bird baths sprinkled around the yard. Come enjoy the peacefulness and return to a simple pace of life here at the Bird House. We have a second home on the property that is the last picture in the photos called the Trail House VRBO listing #2996948. Can rent both homes on one property for extra guests.
About the community:
The Retreat at Water’s Edge Community includes several public docks, stone firepits with adirondack chairs, pavilions with picnic tables and a huge stone fireplace. The community also provides onsite canoe & kayak rental. This community also includes access to the sister community, Deer Lick Falls, featuring private access to one of Tennessee’s largest waterfalls as well as private trails along the creekside.

The area boasts incredible hiking trails, caves, waterfalls & unique restaurants.
Easy day trips include: The Caverns, Bigfoot Adventure, The Mountain Goat Trail, Fiery Gizzard Trail, Foster Falls, Greeter Falls, Stone Door, Denny Cove, Buggy Top Cave, South Cumberland State Park, The University of the South at Sewanee, and so much more!
It is also a short drive from Nashville or Chattanooga.

The house is in a great location. It’s walking distance from the park and the lake. It’s close to great hiking trails. We had a great family vacation.

Super cute tiny home that is actually very roomy!! Very clean and well stocked! Perfect location for great hiking spots, just down the street to the lake with canoeing, kayaking and fishing. Also has nice fire pit, swings, hot tub and bikes so you have lots to do if you choose.
