About this house rental
Come to relax with friends and family at this 2.5 acre home near Syracuse University. Come and enjoy the apple festival (check dates) and the beautiful autumn leaves. The 1700 Sq ft space includes 3 bedrooms (master suite 18’ x 15’) and two full baths! The master suite has a king size bed (can be split to 2 twin size beds) and a pull out sofa sleeper if needed. The second bedroom includes a queen size bed with vanity, and the third bedroom includes a full size bed and dresser. The livingroom has sofa sleeper as well. Also is a large eat in full kitchen and living room. Always enjoy the beautiful sunsets.
Pompey Hills is not for hosting events or parties. Only the amount of guests that are booked will be allowed on the property at anytime regardless if they spend the night or are a daytime guest. If more guests come than what is booked, you will be charged $22 per guest per day. “Maximum number of guests allowed at Pompey Hills is 8.” All your space is private to you with a separate entrance and no shared space. My wife and I live on the north end of the house along with my 85 yr old dad. We keep to ourselves and value your privacy. If you would like to meet us upon arrival our phone number is available on the counter.
Pool will be open June 15 - September 15. Pool is not opened the day of checkout. Pool temperatures will vary. June temperatures range 72°-75°, July temperatures 75°-78°, August temperatures range 76°-83°, September temperatures range 69°-75°, October temperatures 68°-70°.

Gorgeous spot!!! Very clean and fully equipped home with all your needs. Great view from deck which leads to a fabulous, well cleaned pool. Great for folks with mobility issues. Michael was very easy to communicate with. Definitely a hidden gem!!!

The home was clean and ready for us. The owner accommodated our request to open the pool a bit earlier, which we appreciated. The only suggestion/observation about the listing is that there are only 3 bedrooms, not 4. The largest room has 1 King and a pull out couch. The house can sleep 8 people, but 4 people would need to share the larger room. Would stay there again.

The house was very roomy and comfortable. The back deck was perfect for watching sunsets. A very great place to stay.

Renters please be aware that the listing on VRBO lists this property as having 4 bedrooms. Upon closer scrutiny of the listing you will find they are counting a pull out couch in the only living room as a bedroom and bed. Its there but you have to read closely and I was under the mistaken impression that we were renting a home with four bedrooms. Also, yes there is one king bed, but the other beds are small... don't believe there is a queen but merely two full beds. The other surprise we received is that the owners are on property. Granted they did not interfere with our visit; but we didn't know they were there when we booked. Separate entrance for them but there was a windowed space that looked out over the patio area that we did not have access to; we didn't know if they were "in there" :-) or not. The house has many pieces of furniture; small and large and things taped to the walls; really there is " stuff" everywhere you look. The backyard and pool area are as pretty as the pictures online indicate. The deck however is peeling badly and deteriorating and needs repairing and refinishing. Wear shoes as bare feet may leave you vulerable to splinters. Also, the property is lined with beautiful trees but the house sits on a very busy road and traffic noise in apparent.
