Sitting on 12 acres, our house is near Finger Lakes vineyards, Pine Creek Rail Trail, Wellsboro PA, Corning Glass Museum, multiple lakes, race tracks(both Motocross and Watkins Glen International), boating, hiking, and fishing. It's amazing how many different things you can do within a 1-minute to 50-minute drive from the house. Scenic, peaceful views all year round from the deck overlooking Lake Cowanesque is the cherry on top! You don't have to go anywhere! Quiet comfort in a brand-new house with central air, a washer, dryer, dishwasher, microwave, smart TV, Starlink 5G WiFi(Over 100 mb/s), and privacy! Blackout curtains and deer roaming the property. Great place to stay if you're looking for great views and some peaceful time away! The house was very cleand the sheets and blankets smell very fresh! We did use the washer and dryer on site to wash some of our clothes!

This is a new home as stated. The view of the lake and hillsides are very nice from the upper deck. However, the house sits uphill above a main highway and all the road noise travels uphill which made getting a good nights rest difficult for a light sleeper like me. I also had an adverse physical affect because the sheets and towels were highly scented with a laundry product like unstoppables. When I expressed these concerns to the caretaker, he responded promptly and brought a brand new set of packaged sheets very quickly.
In our opinion, the home needs a good cleaning. We saw cobwebs, I needed to clean cooked on boiled over noodle water or oatmeal off the microwave plate, smelled urine odor on one matresses, and suspect the floors need a fresh mopp.
All in all, though, it is a nice little house with properly working appliances and air conditioning, and tv. WIFI signal great. Water from tap tastes fine and plenty of hot water for showers.
So, if you are not fussy about a super clean home and don't have any sensory issues like me, I think you will be happy with your stay!
