Guests have access to their own private yard, and shared laundry room.
The Neighborhood:
Even though we are located in the heart of Oakhurst, we still have lots of wildlife such as variety of birds, squirrels, bunnies, deer, foxes,.... They like to come out on sunset hour, and use our empty yard as a path. Enjoy a nice evening with pretty sky, have some tea at our outdoor table, and hopefully you will see some cool animal crossing.
At night, if you enjoy the sound of crickets and night birds, feel free to open the windows, especially on cooler days.
However, you might get some traffic noises, even with windows closed, since we are right off a main road, mostly in the mornings.
Getting Around:
We are within walking distance of the entire town of Oakhurst.
Public Transportation stops at our street. There's also a trolley that works on the weekends.
Oakhurst, sadly, isn't the most walking-friendly town, however you can walk almost everywhere, especially from this location.
Parking is easy around here as well (with the exception of the Bass Lake area).
Other Things to Note:
Yosemite National Park occasionally requires reservations. Please ask us if you are unsure.

Quiet comfortable home. Love that it’s 30 minutes from the entrance of Yosemite. Rooms were very clean but floors and kitchen need more attention to detail. Host communicated well.

Perfect for what we needed. Clean and comfy. Saw some deer when we were there. Unfortunately the temps were too high to use the outdoor space. Oakhurst had everything we needed within a 5 min drive. Recommend arriving in daylight just so you can find the driveway etc the first time.

Everything was great. Beautiful views, everything in the house was clean and of good quality. Spacious and even better than the photos of the listing.
25 minutes drive to the South Entrance of Yosemite, but bear in mind it's another hour from there to Yosemite valley (just something to bear in mind if you want to get to the valle before 8am as they recommend...)
