The open floor plan inside is spacious and exudes coastal charm — from the vaulted ceilings, decor, and updated kitchen! The living space features a plush couch and chairs for relaxing and snuggling up to watch your favorite shows or movies on the large flatscreen TV. A few steps away is the renovated kitchen with stainless steel appliances and everything you'll need to prepare a meal. Highlights include a gorgeous butcher block countertop, a custom tile backsplash, and a Keurig coffeemaker. We really enjoyed our stay at Banana Pancakes and would consider staying in this location again in the future. The public beach access is right across the street so was super convenient to get to.
The washer had stains/mold around the rubber ring, I made the rental agency aware and they sent someone out the next day. he tried to clean it, but it was permanently stained and will need to be replaced, hopefully that will be taken care of before the next rental. These things happen, and they did address and is really the only issue I had with our stay.
Some other improvements/fixes that could be made are for the screens on the doors, the magnets are very weak and will not stick.
Overall, we enjoyed our stay.

Nice view of the ocean from the front deck. A very short walk to the beach.
There are definitely areas where the house could use some additional improvements but all in all, it was fully functional and provided a good home base for our vacation.

Banana Pancakes was the perfect location for us. It was a great size for our small family and located just across the street from beach access. The deck with gates was perfect for our dog to get out and "people watch" without us having to worry about her. The home had beach stuff for us to use which was awesome. My only negative comment would be that the furniture needs to be cleaned better. The couch was covered in pet hair and we had to cover it with a sheet to sit on it. Otherwise, a great stay. We would definitely stay here again and recommend it to others. The rental company, Salt and Sand, was also great and I would rent from them again in the future. One last thing, the home did not have oven mitts or pot holders so if you plan to cook meals at the house as we did, you may want to bring a couple.
