2023 Vineyard House

This home is ideally located by Sutton’s Bay, several wineries, and Lake Leelanau. It’s also about 20 minutes from Traverse City and 40 minutes from Sleeping Bear Dunes. The pool is perfect for cooling off after a day of activities, and the patios all around the house take in sweeping views (can even see a bit of lake) over the vineyards — lovely for sunset cocktails and dinner. The great room is spacious and inviting with plush rugs and comfortable seating for 8 or more. Kitchen with two islands and outdoor grill have all the bells and whistles. There are a number of nicely-furnished bedrooms (1 on the main level and 2 wings upstairs with two bedrooms each) that allow guests to spread out, but the bedrooms in one of the wings connect in a way that would be best for families so check to be sure the layout works for your group. Lots of personality in the plentiful art. We would not hesitate to stay at this beautiful sprawling property again.

Great space, enjoyed the pool, kitchen was very usable...

The house and property were both spectacular. We had 4 family groups with 8 adults and 5 kids aged 6 months to 13 years. We were accommodated perfectly. the bedrooms and the living/gathering spaces were ideal. We made great use of the Pool, Firepit and Walking areas. We had a photographer come to take family pictures on the property, and she was very impressed with the views and backgrounds. We also had a chef come one night and prepare a meal for us - he found the cooking/grilling appliances were perfect for him. We had an all-around great time and expect to plan a return trip in the future.

We stayed at this property in June as a family get together and birthday celebration. Property is very large and great for a large group. There are a lot of additional open spaces that could be accommodated to fit a larger group, but there were plenty of rollaway beds in the basement that met our needs. Pool and Vinyard were beautiful- the weather did not cooperate for us but overall we had an amazing time, property owner/manager was very communicative.
