Located in the heart of the Bresse agricultural countryside, between fields and meadows, bordering the center of a small residential village nestled between the banks of the nearby Doubs River (a paradise for kayakers and anglers, famous for its catfish, zander, and carp, with natural beaches), a remarkable protected ecosystem classified as a "Natura 2000 Zone" (an exceptional bird sanctuary rich in 160 species of birds and very rare plant varieties), and the vast neighboring Pourlans state forest, a veritable "green lung" crisscrossed with footpaths (to be explored on foot or by mountain bike).
