About this house rental
Beautifully situated atop the Bluff of the Guadalupe River. This extraordinary country house has been newly remodeled and equipped with everything you need for a dream vacation. There is an outstanding view from the house, yard, and a hot tub of the Guadalupe River. Features an adult tree house with built-in seating and bar. The kitchen is well-equipped to do your own cooking and there is more than adequate dining space for everyone to sit together. The bunk room is unlike any other rental in the hill country!

Our family are very excited for our son on getting his Master's degree. Our family came to stay at this beautiful home. We all enjoyed the home and outstanding views from this home.

First of all, the house is gorgeous. Love the spaciousness and location. However, there are some things that need to be addressed. I don't know if the owners are doing the cleaning or if professionals are cleaning this house. The coffee pot reservoir had water in it but was full of what seemed to be tiny bugs. There were two areas that needed propane but there was only one propane tank and that was only halfway full. We were asked to clean the BBQ after use. We should not have to do that. That is why we pay for cleaning. But we did clean it, however, whoever is cleaning is not doing it correctly. The drip pan has gunked on grease from I don't know when that literally wouldn't come off. The TV's turn off and on whenever they want. The volume on the TV in the living room only worked when it wanted to. I was asked to leave the faucets dripping before I left, also not my job, but I did it so the owners wouldn't have a problem with the freeze that was coming. They were not stocked on toilet paper, no creamer for coffee, about 4 packets of sugar for coffee with no other options for sugar except sweet n low. I sometimes clean Airbnbs, and all supplies are fully stocked and we do not ask guests to scrub grills after themselves. The cleaners do that. So that was very disappointing especially considering what we paid. Overall, it is a nice house but lacking in some areas. If these things can be resolved it would be a 100% great stay. The staff of Fredericksburg Escapes were great in communication.
