About this lodge
Spacious and historic Mountain Home sitting near the banks of the relaxing middle St. Vrain Creek. This is a remodeled lodge, that has converted the original bandstand into the primary bedroom and the old dance floor into the living room. This property includes a large wet bar, kitchen with utensils/equipment and large bedrooms.
The updated Riverside Lodge - Relaxation in a Historic Setting is the upper level suite in a two suite lodge. The lower level suite is called the Riverside Mountain Lodge Retreat. Each suite has it's own private entrance. You can also book the entire property under the name Riverside Lodge - Upper and Lower Lodge Combined.
The closest small markets by car are in Ferncliff at 12 minutes away and downtown Lyons at 15 minutes away. You can find more amenities in Boulder, Longmont, Estes Park and Nederland each at around 30 minutes away. Boulder and Longmont are your best bets for big box stores, Estes Park and Nederland are smaller mountain towns, but have good sized grocery stores and other cool mountain town amenities.
The lodge is across the street from the river, but you can walk along the river on the road and access the river by the county owned bridges (one bridge is right by the lodge).
Parking - two cars are allowed as there is only two parking spaces for this suite on the property. Please park only on the gravel, on the left side of the concrete pad.
The primary bedroom includes an en-suite bathroom and large oversized closet, which was the original green room. The main bedroom area was the stage and includes a king sized bed. The second bedroom has two queen beds and the third bedroom includes one king sized bed.

Close to ESTES PARK, beautiful views. The home was surrounded by lots of tress and we saw a Moose while we were there which was a great treat.

It was a very nice place to stay and easy to find. The stairs to the entrance and outdoor patio area was pretty overgrown with plants/weeds but not that much of a concern, we were not planning to use the patio anyway. Inside was clean and updated as description says. All 3 bedrooms were nice. Only negative comment would be that check out is 10 am and the cleaning company was there before 9:45. We were mostly moved out but still felt awkward - does not change that it is a great place to stay.

It was in a peaceful location close to a creek. The house was spacious and clean. It had all the amenities needed to relax. The property manager responded quickly to minor issues that arose.

If you're looking for a beautiful location in the mountains, that is accessible via short drives to places like Ouzel Falls, St Catherine's Chapel on the Rock, or fun in Lyons, then this place is for you. Very comfortable with all the amenities you'll need & beauty in every direction.
Nicholas provides detailed communication, making the check-in and out process very easy. We'd love to stay there again !
