The resort is currently experiencing a balcony restoration project. During this time, balconies in select suites and some areas will not be available and will be blocked off. Additionally, guests may encounter noise, dust, and odors, and work crew onsite. All project updates will be announced as they become available.

The host was welcoming but totally unwilling to work with me on a conflict that arose several days before the booking. The host was within their rights by policy, not to work with me, as they advised, they cannot make amendments to the booking within 15 days of arrival. However, I only booked it slightly outside of that range, it was a very late booking. Given the time of year with the holidays, I would’ve appreciated a little bit more compassion and flexibility since I wasn’t trying to cancel, just change the dates by a couple of days. They didn’t tell me there was a conflict with another guest, they just said they wouldn’t make it an adjustment because of the date. The facility was clean and well stocked. My only other real issue was that the entire unit had a very strong odor of shellfish. I know that sounds strange, but it’s true. It wasn’t offensive, especially since your nose adjusted after about 10 minutes, but it was definitely present.
