Overall a great place to stay and very much recommended. There isn’t much accommodation choice in jebel shams but you will be very happy here - the service was great (the dining room staff are so kind) and the rooms are basic but very nice. Setting is of course beautiful and it’s just a short drive to the start of the w6 hike as well as other beautiful vistas.
The only fault would be that we booked an Arabic tent and upon arrival were ‘upgraded’ to a bungalow - however it turned out that they hadn’t actually finished building the Arabic tents so not only was the website misleading but the so called upgrade was for their convenience, not to please us! Regardless the room was nice and we were very happy with our stay.
Good range of food for breakfast and dinner buffets and great value for money. No WiFi which could be inconvenient for some guests but we personally enjoyed it.

It was convenient for hiking the balcony trail. Service was friendly, accommodations were clean and comfortable, and the food was gof.

Nice to be able to stay in the Jebel Sham area. Staff service was excellent but otherwise stay was mediocre. I stayed in a tent and the lighting was very poor. Could not do much. I asked about lighting and got an answer that it was to create atmosphere. If I wanted to be in a cave it would be good. Found the food mediocre especially the breakfast.
